Yep - but I managed to get / already have a slightly bigger storage server + Google Drive (Uni), and I didn't expect RAM to get doubled on this, so it turned out even more powerful. Much rather have it go to whoever needs it most
In any case, I'm going back to Japan for like 8 months in a few days, so latency wouldn't really be that big of a benefit for me.

@samm @cainyxues again, the box is a flash deal - this is just the spec it came with. Originally, it was supposed to be 2GB RAM but it was caught in the double ram shenanigans that they had going on.
