Hello,
I am a newbie and I want to learn about setting up my own DNS server. But, I can't seem to find good tutorial on how to setup my own DNS server(s). Can anyone help me out?

i think some panels that you can install on your server come with features to setup a dns too.
try vestacp, free and easy.
cPanel DNS is free and is actually a pretty easy way to manage a DNS cluster:

VestaCP is nice, free, supports Debian/Ubuntu and does support DNS clustering.
