Sometimes my VPS feels like it's offline (no ping, no SSH connection). However, as soon as I log into SolusVM, it comes back online, and I can ping it or connect via SSH. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

P.S. Yesterday, when I first bought the VPS, the network performance was very poor. Now the speed seems fine, but the only problem is the occasional "disconnections," which resolve themselves after logging into SolusVM. Additionally, there is sometimes a noticeable delay when connecting.

I am like you, the network connection is still very bad, and the vps often loses connection.

I hope it will be ok, because yesterday net situation for me was significantly worse. Seems they're fixing something (I really hope)

Also keep in mind that almost every influx of new customers goes with extensive yabs running and doing other kind of network tests. When I get a VPS through BF or these kind of promotions, I usually wait a week or so to see how they really perform. From that I make my decision for what purpose I'll use them.

Thanks for advice. I am new at bying VPS's :)

Still awaiting delivery of my servers. First one was instant.

    Guess they got spooked.

For some strange reason my login credentials are not working. After I made a ticket for provisioning, somehow I got logged out of the panel and I cannot log back in with the same credentials I used while registering. As their mail system is borked, forgot password is a no-go as well. Waiting for @HostSailor to wake up to resolve this mess

I had the same issue. After getting the wrong credentials error, changing the language below the login fields somehow logged me back in.

Hmm I don't see any language selector below the login field. Also they asked me to mail the billing team to resolve this issue

Nevermind. Their emails are working fine now. Was able to reset the password and gain access back

    :open_mouth:
Thanks for confirming! I was waiting to activate my account! Even i opened a ticket, now closed!

Checked with support and bandwidth is only calculated using the VPS's outbound traffic.

With the CPU so strong I'll be using this VPS regularly so I chose to Limit it's UL Rate to 4000Kbps (3.6Mbps) which is 130% of the 1TB monthly. Went with 130% cause I do sleep sometimes lol.

So 1TB limit is for outbound & Inbound is unlimited?

1TB outbound only as per support.

Live support just told me it's for both Inbound + Outbound... lol

@HostSailor Which is the right answer? Only outbound or both?

I have a VPS on node1 for several months and this happens not just since the offer here. It is especially bad for the last few weeks though.

But I have to admit that it didn’t bother me too much, so I haven’t contacted the support yet.

I have a VPS on node1 for several months and this happens not just since the offer here. It is especially bad for the last few weeks though.

But I have to admit that it didn’t bother me too much, so I haven’t contacted the support yet.

they have a problem with OpenVZ and they will convert them to KVM and double the RAM

  • After successfully making the payment, the status has been showing as "pending." I’ve been waiting for 24 hours now, and the server I purchased is still in a pending state. I’ve never had to wait this long before—normally, it only takes a few minutes. I can no longer wait, and I’ve submitted a support ticket, but there has been no response. I’ve also requested a refund, but I’ve received no reply.
