    The reason i run own adguard DNS server is to block almost all the analytics and telemetry services from the devices i own, on the run i am the DNS over TLS running on my devices if not connected to a VPN service(again on one of my servers), I am thinking of adding another server with 3500x(got spare), GA A520m K, 32GB ECC DDR4, 1-2TB nvme and 2x 2-4TB HDD in RAID10, for bunch of containers and services, i will be relying on using CF tunnel and tailscale. The 3500x will be throttled at 45w max with full load and i might use an old gt720 low profile for occasional checkups requiring a display output.

    That's a hard thing to say(at least for me), been drinking since last 15 years but the i can only count like 4 times i was blown out completely, rest of the time i behave more like a connaisseur tasting this and that but never getting fully drunk on something.

    The reason i run own adguard DNS server is to block almost all the analytics and telemetry services from the devices i own, on the run i am the DNS over TLS running on my devices if not connected to a VPN service(again on one of my servers), I am thinking of adding another server with 3500x(got spare), GA A520m K, 32GB ECC DDR4, 1-2TB nvme and 2x 2-4TB HDD in RAID10, for bunch of containers and services, i will be relying on using CF tunnel and tailscale. The 3500x will be throttled at 45w max with full load and i might use an old gt720 low profile for occasional checkups requiring a display output.

    Running this at home 24x7?

    Yeah it will run 24x7 unless something fails or power gets disconnected for more than 4 hours. My ups will be able to power this continuously for like 4 hours or something, or i might need a spare inverter for the homelab alone.

    We don't know how they even tracking. Some times we get product recommendations or news recommendations when we discuss things at home. I think may be its my echo.

    It's scary why my phone could be doing, when even smaller AirPods are capable of that.

    Just had some experience few hours back. Me and my wife were discussing about our weights. 5 minutes later a notification came on my wife's mobile about some news article for weight loss. :D

    Obviously. These experiences are getting frequent. Have to turnoff some devices and test this.

    I don't think anything will work. We are surrounded by Chinese made smartphones. Until or unless someone's ready to make a very deep dive into these devices, we will never know for sure.
