  • No treats tonight, the cat must wait,
Christmas isn’t here, it’s not the date.

With a sleepy sigh, he’ll close his eyes,
Dreaming of Santa @host_c and festive surprise. 🐾🎄✨

a cat is laying on a bed under a blanket with its eyes closed .

So I guess @hostsailor got people to pay attention again.

What's next? I want some 'exotic' locations. Low-end boxes, low-end pricing.

Agreed. Depends on what you want to use it for. I'm quite happy with this one though. Will make a great DNS slave.

This is probably the first time I've seen HostSailor selling a VPS for $6 a year. I'm thinking about getting one. :D

They did sell for $6.6 before, the 90% off is another visualwebtechnologies style inflation

    need some advice guys

For a vps transfer a person here sent me a payment with a shipping address in PayPal transaction email that also had a fee deduction despite my instructions to mark it as for friends and family. He tells me Indian Paypal doesn't allow friends & family. I wud have lived with the fee but the presence of a shipping address is putting me off. I doubt in case of a dispute PayPal will understand the non shippable dynamics of a vps. Can the person rerverse this transaction?

I am wondering if i shud honor the transaction and move on with handing over the vps or refund him. The guy has been here since 2019 but only has 4 comments, I am confused.

Don't know if this is already resolved or not, but when sending payments for business transactions on Paypal there should be an option to select "no shipping address required" under the address section.

Personally I'd ask the buyer to resend without the address added because it probably could be clause for a reversal with Paypal if they really wanted to try.

Nice. Maybe I'm on another node. Got slightly higher specs but yabs wasn't this good. Maybe they finally got rid of some abusers

    How is hostsailor?

Everyone always asks "Where's Hostsailor?" but no one ever asks "How's Hostsailor?"

    Until now<3

How is HostSailor doing now? The $6 per year offer is tempting me a bit. ;)

Wait until you see the YABS, that would be my suggestion

Did you buy the $6 per year plan now? Or...?

I am not planning to buy.
    Getting the Massive**** style feeling

Always been happy with their services. They've been around, not new to the low-end crowd. No guarantees but it's a great deal from a known provider. I'm not complaining :)

Their regular annual promotion prices are ridiculously high, and even with discount codes, the cost-performance still isn't great.

I remember buying that xen pv in August of 2021 with 256GB in bandwidth for $6.6 :)

Then I decided not to renew it I guess or I forgot to renew it. This is a much better deal. The send speeds seem to be under a Gbps but I saw the receive ones cross 2.4 Gbps.
