It is quite understandable that many of my comments could have been missed as many have honesty been quite verbose. There is often far to much too say that I could not properly capture my intentions or thoughts within just a few bits of text, thus I find my self inevitability driving towards a large wall of text.
The VPS sale that I happened to win (one of them) was a 2.5 GB RAM with 3 CPU. It is essentially a slightly upgraded version of the 2.5 GB VPS that is currently on sale for the black friday deal which I had also picked up. It is slightly more limited in disk space, I think 25GB~ I can not recall exactly and can not check at the moment. I am sure I will hit the disk space limit sooner as a result however it is plenty for the project I want to toss on it. The only cherry on top now would be some further RAM upgrades and a disk space upgrade on another give away
I am quite happy with it though as it is plenty of space for what I need for now and I was already happy paying the deal price for the black friday 2.5GB VPS sale. I will likely continue to renew both of these to allocate to different projects. If one day I need to scale, I know I can continue to pick up more resources from rack nerd!
I am now on the hunt for many of those elusive upgrades for life to tack onto that deal I got on the flash sale! I eagerly await each one of those give aways that drop. The stakes have gotten much higher for me now
