    I can not believe the day is finally upon us. Time flies when you are having so much fun! It feels like it was just yesterday I was looking for a new VPS provider when I happened to stumble into what was the very beginnings of this 2024 racknerd black friday give away and crazy deals thread.

    Look how far we have come as a community! We have reached THREE MILLION AND TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND VIEWS!!! Not only that, we have also reached FREAKING EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY THREE PAGES AND TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED COMMENTS!! That is just insane! We all did this together with Noob 404 pulling up a lot of the slack!

    Never did I anticipate what I was stepping into when I first clicked this thread just simply trying to find the best deals for a new VPS provider. I have to say I am probably here to stay now. My flash sale I grabbed was quite a deal and I am all in on the swag to go start spreading the word in the street.

    It has been my honor and privilege to participate in this thread with all of you in the community and I am excited to see what the end of this give away will bring!     I don't think so. That'd be difficult to monitor. I mean it'd be very difficult to determine each user's entry and all. I am not sure anyways

    It's been a pleasure having you on the thread. I am gonna confess I haven't read each and every on of your comments, as many were missed due to pages flying, but I can confidently say I enjoyed reading your comments (I love English literature).

    I hope you now understand the RackNerd spirit and hope you stay for any further RN threads.

    Also, can you tell me if the flash sale VPS was a v2 or v4 CPU? I missed that one by mere seconds and still regret it.

    The technologies we have is all outdated stuff, even we go into deeper unless we do something about taxation the all knowledgeable one's will go outside and get some relief from this insane tax system, I will say it here and probably will not repeat myself, there's just too much tax, the companies are taxed 30% while the same people(who technically paid 30%) will be taxed further in slabs. They purchased something it will be taxed upto 28%, imagine one person who earns 1CR from a company he owns, he pays 30% as a company tax from 1cr then he pays another 30 from 70l and when he purchased let's say mac pro he again paid the 28% of the mac pro in taxes. While almost all the purchased he made are taxed, the only relieve can get is to stay being connected with his family and friends in India, any same person will just go abroad and settle there.

    This is true. I don't disagree with anything you said. And, yah, going abroad is a dream for most people. And, I will add one more thing here. Countries like UAE are now in focus right now more than the so-called rich and modern countries of the west. This is mainly due to a few reasons, including tax breaks, but, mainly because the Govts there reinvest back a lot on upping the lifestyle and security. There are literally videos of people leaving their Bugatti windows open and coming back the next day to find it in the exact same spot.
    I know it's gonna take some time for India to reach there, but, everyone, even ordinary citizens of the country need to have some basic civic sense. We are slowly building up to that. Hope I get to see that in this lifetime.

    True. It's just that sometimes we are all caught up in our own world of sufferings and troubles that we forget the very basic things.
