@host_c, will I get a change to buy any of your deals, or will there be 4 in stock for 1 thousand people

Dear @host_c,
Don't you feel sorry for me? I always follow your flash sales but I never get a single one. I have spent all my time refreshing your page every minute, but still no VPS has been successfully ordered.
After a few days without any results, maybe it's time for me to give up on getting one. Thank you for all the salt you have sprinkled.
Best regards,
@KeqingWangy, a very pitiful member.
hopefully there are some new customer only offers. let everybody join the fleet!
well, we do not wish to over-provision, and I do not like pre-sales ( not my thing )
So we will do promos as we have capacity ( that is growing each month )
2025 will bring dealzzzz each month so my answer to you and other is YES! I am confident most will catch one.
Customers with multiple services can request to combine them or ask for custom upgrades. These requests can typically be processed within a few days.
Note: For promo services, any upgrades are charged at the list price, not the promotional rate.
A VPS has usually these main specs:
CPU
RAM
NVME
ADDON-DRIVE
IPV4
MONTHLY TRAFFIC
Promo VPS combine/stack formula:
Any 3 of specs can be combined
List Priced VPS combine/stack formula:
Any 4 of specs can be combined
Customers who have multiple unused services can open a support ticket to request a refund of the remaining value as account credit. This credit can then be used to:
Also, customers can "jump" from one cheaper VPS to a more expensive one no problem.
Exceptions/Rules:
The "Launch Date" of a Promo VPS refers to the month it was initially made available for sale.
A. Upgrading between Promo VPS plans: You can only request an upgrade from one Promo VPS to another if both services were launched in the same month. For example, you cannot upgrade from a Promo VPS launched in March to one sold in February.
B. Upgrading from List Price Services to a Promo VPS: This is allowed. ( Price Difference is added as credit ). However, I strongly recommend reviewing the specifications carefully, as List Price Services typically offer significantly higher specifications. This difference will become even more pronounced in 2025.
C. Upgrades from services purchased through different media channels are restricted to the same channel. For example, services bought on forums can only be upgraded to other services published on that specific forum.
It is not possible to request an upgrade from a service sold on LET to one sold on OGF, even if both services share the same Launch Date. - This prohibition is effective immediately. This decision reflects our commitment to supporting each community individually with deals specifically designed for their unique needs and plans.
These will get in TOS on the website shortly.
EDIT:

was it just me who was getting excited and hoping some 20TB + storage server was going to on offer, oh well guess i'll just have to stick with my 10TB
if I can keep only one vps, it would be ....

Seems like I am the only one who did not get a @host_c VPS this year !
I did not say that, I just outlined the rules of engagement.
do you have 10$/year vps in los angeles
I usually do not like to speak ahead, but 2025 will be pretty interesting offer wise
we do not have presence in US... for the moment...
This morning on ssh login I was greeted by a fat "host key fingerprint changed" warning, which made me inspect the VPS. Found that the server had one day uptime and a better CPU 😅 still don't know what changed the ssh host key though, but I'm not complaining.
Thank you very much, a satisfied customer
Everyone free upgrade to Ryzen 9950X?
@host_c I could not find this info but is it possible for 5tb March promo to 10tb for 90 usd/year was there a 10tb deal in March?
I wrote here that some of you should not freak out, some surprises are coming for a random few. Lucky you!
Now either you know the secret numbers from the lottery and just sent me a DM with them, or I just won something $$$ wise ?

We will take the scaling slowly, really do not wish to fuck up now.
Ya, that is THE ONE exception, end that alone is the only one, as both of those are not going to see the light of day again. I have said this on another thread, I will keep my word on that.
Basically the rules let you juggle between higher end promos in the same month, and that is it. ( with the corresponding sale Chanel )
still waiting for that DM
......
Also pushing F5 on my bank accounts, still nothing man, did you bait me ?

Anyone said hookers?

👍🏼👍🏼
@host_c I’m a bit confused on the upgrade between promos. So if I have the 3TB promo and I would like to upgrade to some of your flash sale 4TB. That’s possible? And with promo price or listing price?
now we talkin.
Calin's latest marketing campaign has been wildly successful. People can't stop talking about his new range of services.
Note: For promo services, any upgrades are charged at the list price, not the promotional rate.
I think this means the rate will be normal price.
Only for the upgrade. Like if you add 1tb addon, that 1tb charge will be at regular list price. The actual service on promotional rate will be the same.
if both of them run in the same month = yes
you can exchange 1 Promo Service to another Promo Service in the same month
If you only wish to add disk space or vcore or ram, bandwidth, so basically increasing one or more of the specs, the this rule applies:
For promo services, any upgrades are charged at the list price, not the promotional rate.
This will not fly off fast I guess
Well, I can give it an A for originality. We had perfumes + VPS, now we have hookers + VPS, beat that
Does Host-C stand for Host-Christmas.
Sure seems like it considering all the December deals and upgrades.
