    If you are sure the upgrades have been processed, can you please provide the steps for one to check and verify within portal.massivegrid.com that this is truly the case?

    When the bonus is processed, the upgrades team replies here to each request. If you didn't get a response in the thread yet, then your bonus hasn't been processed yet, but it'll be processed for sure.

    The upgrades team processes bonuses sequentially so they most probably haven't reached to your post / request here yet. However, if they've responded to your request here and you still haven't gotten the bonus - which most probably doesn't happen, but just in case, please let us know.

    Hi @zhwandzcx, yes, it is 10th Dec 2024 and I have yet to receive my bonus.

    • There is no clear information stating how or when the bonus will be given.
    • There should be instructions in simple English like: when the bonus is given, login to your customer portal, click on the VPS invoice and check that the validity period in the invoice has been extended.
    • Within the MassiveGrid customer portal, I have 2 support tickets (236362 and 888723) regarding not receiving my bonus for 2 separate orders. The support tickets include screenshots from this LET forum thread where I have requested for the bonus.
    • Despite opening the support ticket on 29 Nov 2024, the staff's reply on 04 Dec 2024 is "We would like to inform you that your orders haven't been processed yet due to a large volume of orders. Rest assured that the department that handles this offer will look into your order as soon as possible."
    • These 2 support tickets have since 'auto-closed' and there are definitely some members here who think that I am just another rambling baby for making these facts known.

    Well, that's a funny one. I had mentioned that to them, and the reply I got was

    We would like to inform you that you haven't opened a ticket in our Support Department regarding your H/A activation. We may proceed with activating H/A on your service or services if you wish.

    and pointing to a mail for a different VPS I had for a short time with them before the ones with this offer. Which is crazy ofcourse since in this offer it's stated that you'd have HA. What the truth is, I don't know, but my experience is that they use a lot of (AI generated?) marketing language to make things more interesting, but in the meanwhile had the worst service, performance and availability since Luca C1V entered the scene.

    And ofcourse always first saying that "they don't seen any problems", then that "a few customers may experience issues" and when they offer some kind of compensation (but you have to apply in this thread for it) and you see lots of affected customers here...

    That, and most likely your (and my) replies will be followed by a number of "I want to take part in this party too" entries applying for a "4th year" and subsequent answers so our message are not as visible. Leaving onto your thoughts if these "new customers" really exist.

  • Actually, reading all these comments, it doesn't seem like I made a good decision, but... Let's not forget that in 2012 Aruba, like OVH a few years ago, caught fire, losing thousands of data. Unfortunately, some services must be taken for what they are, taking into account that you may have to do more backups than usual, but if the services we buy are part of a replication plan, then it must be taken into account that some may be less reliable than others. Furthermore, I don't think it's negligence, I saw that they recently had a bad downtime, but it was due to those who provide them with the servers. In short, I don't want to justify anyone, but I want to give confidence, I saw their situation on Companies House and it doesn't seem bad, let's hope for the best.
