I see no problem (except a few non-members on that forum) to bring it to our attention when Ant, Nyr and I are all members here.
Perhaps it could have been delt with in another way, like a message but then you need to know who the staff is and that might not be easy if you get banned (because a plugin sees it as spam) on your first post.
