Still waiting on my Frankfurt VPS to be setup after 2 days, and the NY VPS was so slow I couldn't even get Ubuntu 24 to finish installing on it. Not a good sign so far.
We've seen that Ubuntu struggles to install with 1GB RAM from original ISOs. We'll switch to OS templates for that reason. We're opening up a ticket to our support team to install the OS for you for both servers.

That may be but I've easily installed Ubuntu 24 server on 512 MB AWS and Vultr instances and they never took more than 10 minutes.
The first server needed a stop / start (last week's bug on the hypervisor). The other server was stopped. We started it.
Both servers now are connected and pingable. Please let us know.

How long should I expect to wait for a response to a support ticket? I bought a server and it is not working. I submitted a support ticket, but it has been hours.
I just purchased a VPS from you and installed Ubuntu, but I can't find the root account to log into the VPS. I tried using the root account and password you sent in the email (the same as the one in the guide), but I can't log in.

Good luck, from my experience it's up to the gods and their mood-of-the-day if they are willing to answer your question. Also they like to point out that you should send a ticket to a different 'department', while when you put a ticket in there they still don't directly answer your question but are seeking the same excuses that things are your fault.
BTW: I think tickets are closed automatically after 3 days or so of inactivity. So keep the thing going before that.
