This sentence is quotable, so I quoted it.

If one is a business account and the other is your personal account they're not operated by the same legal entity, depending on how your business is incorporated. Basically not a double account.

    There should be no issue.

But it's best to clarify the situation to the provider so that there isn't an issue

Maybe. Dunno, never thought about it that much really. I have plenty of accounts both personal and for business. Not limited to hosting.

I always use my private info on accounts I use for private purchases and business info (comp. , representative, separate bank account, business address, email phone) for accounts I use for business purchases.

    Never had an issue.

In the low-end scene I'm positive there might be hosts who have an issue with that. Those who do, probably don't grasp the difference.

Of course, no one disputes the difference between personal and business entities

Just to clarify the perspective that I was assuming: here on LET, we've seen a number of cases where a user starts a thread asking why a provider suddenly closed their accounts, and the generalization has been that it wasn't clear to the provider why the user wanted/needed more than one account

Such misunderstandings could have been avoided if the user had clarified beforehand to the provider why they wanted/needed more than one account -- this is all

I'm not saying that a user is or should be obliged to clarify beforehand to the provider why they wanted/needed more than one account

But if a user does clarify beforehand to the provider why they want/need more than one account, it can help to avoid potential misunderstandings -- this is all

You're both right, but I'll just add this: A provider that suspends the accounts without first asking is in my books (see what I did there) not a provider I'd want to be with anyway.

BuyVM/Namecrane handled it nicely by just asking, for example.
