China
Perhaps stick to the US ISP's that have good connections to .CN (and Asian) networks in general, or maybe even some part of Russia, but generally speaking, avoid hosting anything adult related, even if behind CloudFlare in Asian countries. It's just not worth it.
Maybe your users won't be able to stream 4K video, but 480p will do just fine on some good CN2 US ISP, too.
Taiwan and Australia allow pron, no?
From my personal and professional experience, there is nothing worthy of being hosted in Taiwan, or Australia; unless you are YouTube or Netflix, et al.
I would not attempt to host any type of pornographic content in Australia (under the current political leadership) or Taiwan.
Competition, there's 4k adult video streaming sites (for free), why would users watch something in 480p instead?
Perhaps; but there's such a thing as supply and demand too. Maybe their encoding practices aren't as good as yours, and their 4K will look worse than your 480p, and maybe they have alternative revenue streams, too.
But, if you have unique content, and if there are users to consume, it should matter not much whether the content is streamed at 480p and offered to download in a higher resolution (at slower speeds through something like FileJoker, perhaps).
Thanks, however China is not our market, their GFW blocking anything like anytime.
You should probably be fine in most EU/US locations, then. What type of bandwidth usage are you looking at per server?
guess what, the biggest pirate japanese adult video site put their content on alibabacloud
suprise????
i just want a small server maybe VPS to serve the pages, i am not talking about put the media content in Asia, i know that is freaking expensive
not a surprise, thats why I recommend you, if you already know, why ask other
I'd go with @vsys_host and put it behind CloudFlare -- you won't receive any notices of any kind, that's a fact. CloudFlare should help latency, though.
just curious but is it accessible from china if it's located in china? (I would guess not but not sure)
cuz i can't afford alibabacloud OSS

not sure too, they just use alibabacloud OSS as storage behind the CDN server, i bet they block the China traffic for direct access to the OSS
