is it finished even 30% ?
The pricing is higher if one consider promo vps directly from provider with much polished contol panel
perfect ... what else to say
Some of our providers, including Webyne.com from India and Bigcore.net from Turkey, do not offer hourly payment options. However, you can purchase services with hourly payment through our platform.
In some instances, we offer services at a lower price than the provider’s:
Bigcore offer:
CPU: 2 Core
RAM: 4 GB,
Disk: 40 GB NVMe
traffic: 5 TB
price:$8.00
Our offer from BigCore:
CPU: 2 core
RAM: 4gb
Disk: 60 HB NVMe
Traffic: 8 TB
Price: €6
The both offers are hosted on the same hardware.
Apart from these two, where else can one see savings? I am willing to keep the panel update for later.
To reinstall a different OSon the same vps, you to delete that vps and recreate a new vps using new order. Do not expect same ip address.
I can list many more advantages of using Caasify
It is SSD .. not NVMe
mentioned in their website under Standard VPS category
here is the proof
the disk size is 16gb ... not 60gb
another magic of @caasify
All jokes aside I think @caasify has an amazing service. I also get quick responses over messages on this platform. Seems trustworthy ok.
I wouldn’t expect it to be the cheapest even though they have amazing rates now. But the true value comes from multicloud which now you can easily manage. You won’t need dozens of provider accounts, right @caasify?
This is hugely helpful for growing businesses who buy servers from many providers and it’s a lot of work to track. Same with those who just buy a lot of servers from providers.
What is shared with the hosting providers about us? I am curious. Caasify has our information, is it given to anyone?
Didn't find any info on how abuse notices were handled.
Does cassify make accounts on behalf of customers? If yes, they seemingly have full access to the services? What's stopping cassify from doing anything malicious with the MITM?
It's a weird thing to say that servers are difficult to track.
What happens when providers have promotions. Do savings get passed to customers?
It's interesting where @caasify chooses not to respond to any of my questions.
As an idea, it seems interesting, it is just like you can deploy anywhere, the point is, you build app, wanted to deploy the VMs of the needs which has more diverse choices unlike the containers. containers are specific to apps, VPS is not a container, has whole variety of options, features to provide. The system internally has to provide network isolation, VPS isolation from cassify and also from others who use that portal.
My question still not answered, how do you separate one bigcore VPS from one of your users to other users. In other way to ask you, do you sign up with them, use their APIs, where you really not made any 'contract' with them that cassify as company would tie up with the vendors you mentioned? In other way to ask the same question is, business is not same as calling APIs and get the stuffs done, we talk about privacy, our customers data etc.
Mentally strong providers avoid strong questions.
The biggest drawback is lack of VNC
I have to go out-of-box solution to workaround this.
Just an inconvenience as long as you can get your work done with an alternative.
Ofcourse is understand how frustrating it could be.
Do you really expect most customers will go out of way for this common VNC feature that is available even on $7/year vps?
@caasify
Are you ready for YABS for this amazing provider?
But, please fix the configuration. It is not NVMe.
It is s.l.o.w SSD
Of course. Why would anyone buy a service from a marketplace in the first place then? 🤔
Looks at VPS options under $4/month now vs three months back.
Charm is very less to go with an untrusted marketplace provider when you get goodies here and elsewhere from providers directly.
Plus it is dark on how the customers data is managed. Who has access how much (from the market place side).
How are abuse notices handled.
Too many unknowns and lack of transparency and lack of responses from provider.
One more to that list
The ideal option would be let customers to buy account with various data centers and providers, who offer APIs, while orchestration providers to provide a integration, to find and app management with container like solutions, geo distributed, offer VM over kubernetes like cluster which are geo distributed. Add a value for "money saved" or providing better service. I tried creating one spot instance with one of my azure pass credit [used for academic], Microsoft not even ready to deploy one single spot instance on new account, stating reason like there is high demand for spot instances, not allowing new quota.
Expect pretty soon 30% additional top-up marketing scheme
@caasify
Before you ask, I am not using VPN
We won't go for random providers as we are responsible to our customers, SLA, etc.
Is there a list of forbidden providers on Lowendtalk that we can refer to?
We are trying to find the reliable providers. However, we will be responsible for the customers in case of an accident.
We are a company based in Lithuania and do not offer services to restricted countries. The mentioned website has been reported to Google.
We receive grants from OVH and DigitalOcean as we are a startup. We also received a 25% discount from Kamatera. However, Hetzner does not provide such offers. We included Hetzner in our marketplace to make it more appealing, especially for resellers using our WHMCS module, as it allows them to sell Hetzner services on an hourly payment basis (most common WHMCS modules operate on monthly payments rather than hourly).
However, we are no longer considering moving forward with Hetzner due to the lack of profitability.
The new client version will be released in January, and some of the mentioned options will be available.
We currently have about 7-8 providers. Two of them are cheaper, some are priced equally, and others are higher due to the VAT number. We are actively seeking new providers to join our marketplace.
Can you please share your VM ID?
I have already deleted that poorly performing vps
should be pretty easy to replicate the issue by your QA team
