Turkey provider is mostly scam
He used 14TB+ in the last 7 days....
Can you give me proof of that? 14tb usage is fake and a lie.
Wait, Aren't you the same user that got banned from OGF for some reasons?
Well that's something we can all agree on
Maybe it's a language barrier, but we go from "server for our company" to "my personal" to "our personal".
Wow.
So Turkish providers can be trusted out of Turkey. Nice.
I mean this vpn is personal for me. I decided to set up a vpn server in this way because I don't want outside people to access only my private ip addresses. And I only use it to connect to my 3 ip addresses. I do not offer this service to my customers.
As we Turks, I do not trust Turkish providers serving in Turkey. Because I am in a fight with many of them. That's why I preferred a server outside of Turkey.
14TB is not that much, when you consider a 1Gbit port can hit 330TB if hit solid 24 hours a day which is approx 10TB per day, over the month, 14TB in 7 days is approx 2TB per day which is really around 20% of the max of 1Gbit if my quick calc are correct
Could the server has been compromised in anyway, such as rooted and being used as part of a botnet?
@brnchost Would you give permission maybe to the provider to access your server and review the processes running ?
The use has been transmitted and our negotiations are continuing. As soon as I opened a topic here, my transactions accelerated and they started to support me. A situation such as line output is impossible, no one knows that I have service on this server. And this situation is impossible except for me. They cannot connect to my server from the outside, it is impossible to have these uses.
Unfortunately, I cannot allow you to do this extra.
@Dasabo
14 tb is not possible in 7 days with vpn.
this wants to be closed.
this is all nonsense pay him back the remaining months.
I confirm that they are not many, in fact the case is not only based on bandwidth utilisation but also CPU utilisation in the last 24 hours, it is a bit difficult to talk to him, initially he did not even want to give us more detailed information on the use of this VPN then he did.
To give information openly here is to jeopardize my company. Necessary information was provided through the request.
Never ask you to do that here
That's what we are talking about. We only access this vpn server ourselves. There is no situation to use the line, there is something absurd in the middle, but let's see, I am trying to negotiate from the request, I will give information about the subject in the final.
but now here on the one hand the provider is also at fault.
there are many that if high network is limited automatically in the case of CPU required.
remember you had an automatic script....
you are very suspicious here.
You can also limit cpu with a script, if you use it a lot it takes up cpu cores.
You can also use a script on the network...
You are very suspicious here
Are you making up an imaginary story out of thin air?
I know some providers have this quota system. I also tried ffmpeg and it was limited.
thank you for remembering me that i have server there
Ok, and what is the correlation with this case?
It would have been fine if it had been running properly, it reduced the CPU and speed, not the fact that you turned off the VPS.
Rate limit (MB/s)
This is a textbox to define the maximum allowable speed of the network interface in megabytes per second. This is a very useful option to limit network resources per VM. Without any value defined, the VM will try to use as much bandwidth as possible.
if the customer says he has no intention to use in a way it abuse the system do you give him chance to justify or directly suspending? i am also doing hosting and i resell direct admin web hosting to my clients if they do some spam i give them chance to justify it before suspention take place . But here i see he/she was not notified in email before suspending? is this true ?
I await for your answer.
If you limit the speed, the user will not be able to use the entire 1Gbp/s port for bursts that are accepted.
If you limit the CPU you are stealing CPU from the user because you promised them 1 vCore by giving them less...
I understand that you don't like us, I actually understand a lot of things, but isn't it a bit out of line what you're saying?
I see you are trying to make fighting international
That's actually what we do, we notify the customer of the suspension and ask him for further information about it, and that's exactly what happened.
Cases of abuse are taken very seriously by us as they can affect our infrastructure or even cause problems for our neighbours.
I think he does not want to do international business, which is different...
Providers should not advise “unlimited”, just fixed it at 10TB, 20TB or 100Mbps
