VMWare ESXi & pfSense Setup with Single Public IP
in Help
Hello,
Is that possible to setup VMWare ESXi & pfSense with single public ip?
I recently got OVH Dedicated Server. And I don't wants to spend anything extra on additional IPs. So please someone let me know how to do that.

The latest ESXi versions aren't free anymore, neither big updates for the old free licenses if I understood correctly.
Recommend Proxmox,
Proxmox 1 IP shared with pfSense is easy
I have managed to get it working. Thanks though.
How did you do it? Could you make a guide or provide the sources you used?
What part are you struggling with?
Install your hypervisor, install the guest OS router, assign it two NICs, LAN and WAN, assign the WAN interface your IP from the provider.
Proxmox + openwrt or pfsense
Unless you still get updates for vSphere/esxi, I highly recommend proxmox as others suggested. It wasn't tough to migrate to it from esxi. It made me sad when broadcom bought them and killed the free version for my home lab. I'm actually a little happy since it forced me to find alternatives and proxmox has more features compared to the free esxi!
So far, the only good thing about broadcom buying vmware is that they made workstation pro and fusion prod free.
Sorry I will NOT at least on this forum.
Because some "SENIOR" members calling "JUNIOR" members a Scammer even after offering "CRYPTO" as payment method, they still thinks that I can chargeback Crypto. LOL.
And whole forum comes to defend that idiot.
