Anyone here got the Ryzen 7950X VPS from RackNerd last year?

    Nope. Mine expired. Why?

    RYZEN GIVEAWAYS EXISTED ?DAMN

    Yup. This year too.

    But, those were 3900X.

yeah , thats what I also remember

Yup, I can confirm there were no GAs or sales involving the 7XXX series Ryzen VPSes this year.

we will have some soon  I wish

Only if there's crazy demand for it. Are we ready for that?

    RACKNERD AMD RYZEN 7950X DEAL!

I think I've never seen a flash sale on Ryzen, even last year iirc. Last year we both continously asked for those, but chef didnt grant our wish.

Last year, those were already cheap.

But we like flash sales, :D

We definitely do. Maybe Ryzen VPS flash sale at last year's prices or similar. WDYT?

Wish to see Ryzen in EU location.

Me as well. Guess, it'd be lower latency for India and US alike.

Expanding to APAC is even better. :)

    +1 for this!

Btw, what is that project you are bulding? if you don't mind sharing here.

Will do, once it's complete. :p It's not a very big one compared to what you guys are prolly cooking.

Please share. We like to see what you are building. :D

Soon soon. Please don't build the hype, cause it's a very small project, compared to what you guys got going on.

Now I am more curious about it 😛

    Everyone wants to know 😜

    INDIA WANTS TO KNOW!!

    RACKNERDGANG wants to know

As soon as I tell, you guys will lose interest in it.

  • First of all, I need to figure this CF problem out. Have sent a WAF rule to skip Jio's ASN. Not working yet on JioFiber. But, I guess, they sometimes take a day to flush TTL for DNS, if that's still a thing

Do you provide api access? We would like to integrate your solution to our marketplace.

Hi @caasify -- We do not have API functionality for ordering/cancelling instances at this time, but for boot/stop/restart/status/etc functions, this is supported via the SolusVM API:

    Client Documentation/Functions: https://docs.solusvm.com/v1/api/client/Functions.html

  • @TrK Finally, it's more stable. Fiddled around with SSL and added CloudFlare Origin certs to the domain. Also, proxied it. It's working fine now. But, now, I have another issue. I have both the Let's Encrypt and the CloudFlare certificates in the server block. Is that risky? Upon checking, I see that browsers only detect the CloudFlare certs.

Did a bit of readup. Seems like I will need both, just to be safe.

You should remove the CF origin cert from the server block if you are going to bypass proxy for a ASN or network. Also CF doesn't serve server block SSL it's only meant as a secure exchange with your server and CF edge. CF will use edge SSL mostly Google trust and LE certs for your website if proxied.

I did try removing it from the server block. But, browsers just don't recognise the LE certs if I don't have both the CF script in the server block alongside LE and universal SSL enabled on CF.
My only other option is to disable CF proxy and SSL options on CF and use my LE certs. I'd rather not use CF then. WDYT?

BTW, sorry for using you as my tech support. I have learned a lot form you. Not that a lot of people are gonna be visiting the website I am building, but, I will definitely be adding you to the credits page.

Can you share the vhost config and CF SSL settings, there might be something that you missed. I am using the exact same setup with LE on server and strict SSL settings on CF, and if bypass the proxy i am presented directly to the server with server SSL.

And it's fine, love to help wherever possible, I mean I love doing that.

Scratch that. You were right. I might have just got it. Okay, so this is what I did:-
    1. Proxied domain and subdomain
    2. Enabled Universal SSL
    3. Disabled Origin certificates (i.e., revoked them and deleted the files from origin server)

Now, the websites do load on Jiofiber as well with CF's Edge certs (Google Trust). I guess this is what I need.

Now, the websites do load on Jiofiber as well with CF's Edge certs (Google Trust). I guess this is what I need.

Good luck with that, and the old philosophy if it works don't mess it up, Or so the saying goes...

@TrK Finally, it's more stable.

Good luck with that, and the old philosophy if it works don't mess it up, Or so the saying goes...

If the code works, don't touch it. :p

    Thanked by 1TrK
