I am looking for a VPS for our Minecraft server, and I found that CaaSify offers really cheap VPS plans in India, costing €11 for 24 GB of RAM. Is it legit?

Proceed with caution.....
They are not hosting provider but a reseller/middleman, so it literally gamble on the vps and the provider you got. It can be good , be bad or god known.
So yes proceed with caution
@caasify now the cats out of the bag let’s ask - how do we know you’re not a North Korean spy harvesting our data to make AI clones to replace us?
Will kim pardon this question like biden?
you can make new request in this forum, probably get with that price, but with old xeon cpu
i think they might be providing some xeons v4(caasify ones)
The price is good for the features, but the type of processor and the processor cores are very important. For a minecraft server on a Xeon processor, the average minimum for a minecraft server should be between 6 cores and 10 cores. If it can go above these, it is a very good price in the xeon series.
what specs can i get in 13$ with decent cpu to run minecraft servers well (in india or singapor)
i dont see how they add any value apart from taking comms

We earn a commission from providers, but our prices remain the same as if you purchased directly from them. By choosing our platform, you gain the flexibility to switch between providers effortlessly.
Moreover, while many Caasify’s providers don’t offer hourly payment options, we make their resources available with hourly billing.
@caasify But you said, VPS are offered from SPOT pool. That cause confusion, but you don't state that in your offering , that must be in BOLD, RED Line, was not? can you clarify all VPS from you are SPOT nature or how to avoid eviction ?
I can create same spot in Azure, AWS with Python code, we have a lot of ways to get current spot price, max spot price range for last 3 months, we can play out. can you be transparent bit? Otherwise you will be worst of worst in in the providers here.
sure
It seems there is a misunderstanding.
Only one of our offers is a Spot VM, which has a tag and a red alert, and it is mostly out of stock.
The rest of the offers are regular VMs.
Let me try out for sure then. Do you provide APIs, snapshots, create vm from snapshot or image on portal and also using API?
While creating VM can I say create vm in hetzner DC like ?
Just buy directly
That's not true. I compared your Hetzner servers prices to their direct prices a while back when I was considering using your platform, and you were selling their servers for significantly more.
My understanding is same, possibly spot vm pricing shown as lowest, in other way, behind the scene @cassify could be just signed up like any other persons/companies with various platforms, offer VMs in those respective platforms. If so technically he could see all VMs in his azure/aws/other platforms accounts, possibly access logs etc. Which is potential danger. I keep asking his model of business. For example, if I sign up with Azure/AWS/GCS, I get console access, API key. Then i create VMs using API keys, those VMs available on my web console. If you and me create VM, I can see your VM in my console as well. Also people have mindset of using same password in many places, can cause major issue, if the root passwords are used in cassify network that create havoc. I request @DP @FAT32 and moderators take serious look into this model, white list vendor with certain qualification, especially as others state, @cassify could be middleman broker, which may be good for his business, he may turn to be billionaires next year, with his business venture, but people are here for LET, just for community/rands/offers/chit-chats, as like reddit nerds hangs out.
Suppose Cassify onboarded a provider that is suspended/ banned at LET (e.g. iHostART), how would the selling rules apply?
hence my question what value does he add
If they catch onto my redstone computer, they'll be the magnificence they are supposed to be.
We pay Cassidy directly, right? If the provider scams/deadpools, Cassidy owes us money. Otherwise it’s no different from a site that indexes affiliate links.
Looking forward to seeing this tested.
I have used caasify before and was satisfied with the VMs themselves
HOWEVER, the user interface sucked a**, close to NO customizations possible (in comparison to the original provider), basically all you can do is create/reset a VM + see what IP the server has
Also the billing system was messy and full of bugs
Was a few months ago, maybe they improved
I haven't seen any reason for anyone to go through a middleman instead of the direct provider.
Well in some countries (like my home country, Iran) we are banned and also sanctioned. We can't register accounts and buy directly, that's why we have yo go through middlemen.
Also searching caasify on google, one of the top results is "caasify.net" which redirects to a persian website (cloudsum.net) which has a veeery similar ui to the caasify ui (minus the vpn option, which makes sense since providing vpn in iran is illegal).
All in all, I guess @caasify is a persian company (since their business model is the same as a lot of businesses in iran - act as a middleman to provide sanctioned services, etc. to people)
So essentially circumventing sanctions.this does not sound right to me about cassify.
I am glad you see a use. But for the general population it is offering no tangible benefits. Something akin to better support and pricing (usually) when booking directly via airlines compared to travel agents.
Good luck.
We haven’t finished the development yet, so some options, such as snapshots, are currently unavailable.
Yes, you can choose the datacenter. You can check the postman here.
We are facing challenges related to VAT with several datacenters. We are currently waiting for a VAT number, which we haven’t received yet. As a result, the Hetzner price on our website includes VAT. We expect to receive our VAT number in January, after which the Hetzner price will align with their main website. However, we are uncertain about continuing with Hetzner due to their frequent lack of flexibility.
LOL
Your platform claims to offer advantages. But yet providers are inflexible?
I think you need to go back to the drawing board and clearly identify points which customers can get vs going to the provider.
Plus define your target audience. From one post earlier it seemed you provide services to sanctioned locales. That is probably your niche over anything else.
Regular users probably has nothing to gain. A simple Google search lists out localized service providers which will offer competitive pricing
For bug fishes in game like Hetzner/ ovh/ for that matter other providers have little to no advantage. Unless you become the equivalent of Amazon
Which you are not currently.
Good luck.
