Give me a few Min I'll spin one up on proxmox.
There is a difference between can not run and Microsoft doesn't want you to run.

@kuroit got any offers for me?
Do you really need to ask? Which location & spec?
I understand that part ...
But Windows 11 is more resource hungry as compared to Windows Server 2025 ... that has same look-n-feel of Win 11, can run all apps that run on 11, and more stable and designed to run 24x7
Windows Server 2019 can run on 1 vCore / 1 GB ... no issues even with SQL Server Express DB Engine installed on it ... I have posted screenshots in past for that
I asked extra vCore from @kuroit for a reason @beanman109
Okay but the point I'm making is you told him he can't do it even if it's a dedicated core which is untrue.
Whether it runs like absolute garbonzo is a completely different question
i was wondering ... why do you put windows on everything ?
CLI scares him
He can install it even on 1 vCore / 1 GB ram
but nothing much can be done on it, so what is the point?
I would rather install Windows Server 2019/2022, turn off unwanted services and use it.
Singapore @kuroit
2 vCore / 2GB / 25 GB
is perfect for my use case.
I am more comfortable with powershell scripting
If you have time please do, as i can't get any ipv4 connectivity there. Thank you
Last time I used Windows was to play Age of Empires!
Again, not the point I'm making - you said he can not do it. Untrue.
Next time just say "it's gonna run like shit on 1vCPU mate" it makes you look like way less of an asshole
apparently not this one

Oh would you look at that my Windows 11 install on 1vCPU just finished
Win Server 2019 works great on the following config.

@dev_vps
Specs
1 dedicated Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU core (Doesn't meet required instructions)
2gb Ram
Cpu I can get down to 50% stripping unneeded services

I do even Python programming on Windows
This app is used by TV stations to control on-air programming. This was developed on Windows 2000 with 1GB RAM.
Programming Language - Borland Delhi (object Pascal) with SQL Server
@kuroit Could you please check this ticket #146667 ? Should be an easy one for you
i5-12500 is killing it with 1 thread tbh

Last time I used Windows was to scheißepost!
@beanman109 Yea but that is a much more powerful core than my I3 that doesn't even have aes LOL
Getting them monday too lazy to go to stores
Before I found what I was using compiled for Linux I was using Windows server (whatever version it was before 11) on a 1 core VPS. Let me tell you when I upgrade to 2 cores the difference was very very noticeable.
You have picked intel core i3 and i5 for a good reason
How many VPS are offered with that cpu kind on LET?
@dev_vps

After Stripping the OS this is it's usage
The point stands regardless of literally anything you say, we both just installed it on 1vCPU.
One of those CPU's is from 2011...
Looks pretty good
I can go spin it up on a E3-1230 v3 if we really need to drill this point through
