32 gb / 1 tb ssd / 1 gig port that feels like dedicated port at under $10/month

Hey. Can you point me to the yabs of this box?

Since OS install automated for dedicated server is very outdated, I have to ask dedicated server team to install Windows Server 2022 OS.

So, no yabs for the dedicated server.

Hopefully @ColoCrossing will get development team to focus on OS Reinstall Automation. If I have to guess, it would probably happen in 2026.

Ubuntu 24.04 supported or not? Or at least Ubuntu 22.04?

Yes, Ubuntu 24 is supported, but it has to be installed manually by dedicated server customer support team as OS Reinstall option is outdated

But service team is quick to install OS. Even at 3am ( @ColoCrossing words, not mine )

    Thank you @ColoCrossing.
Have you even calculated the cost of service team for OS Reinstall Tasks that can be handled much better and cost effective manner with OS Reinstall Control Panel.

A little late, but here out I got to install any OS I wanted VIA IPMI.
IPMI viewer just doesn't work for me. Even on a Windows 7 VM. Crashes on mounting.
I installed https://github.com/BrendanHalley/ipmi_jessie_viewer?tab=readme-ov-file on a VPS (Can also be on a local machine/main machine.)
Creating a SSH tunnel to port 8080 and connected to it.
    localhost:8080 in browser.
Remove nullroute to IPMI and open it in the NoVNC machine.
Open https://netboot.xyz/downloads/ in a new tab on the NoVNC machine.
    Download it.
When you login to the IPMI website, go to the console(? forgot name) page (Should be redirect console) and download the .jnlp.
    Open it from the browser.
    Java will open and connect.
You can now mount netboot.iso and reboot.
Once booted you might need to manual select and input info.
For me the second interface (2) with the ip/netmask/gateway/1.1.1.1 from the welcome email worked.
You can now select an ISO to install.
For Ubuntu it needed me to select an network interface again to use and this time it was the first damn select.
    ????
    OS installed.

But christ, IPMI is uhh. Yeah.

I got mine pretty promptly. Ordered on 11/28, had it in less than 24 hours. That was Buffalo, but maybe different in different places?

  • Buffalo is about to be delivered, I have seen the server information, the CPU and disk have been upgraded.

  • Looking forward to providing a dedicated server with HDD drives, the SSD storage is only 1TB, which is not enough.

  • I finally got 1 of my 2 servers yesterday (Buffalo).
