  • Does CraneMail have a wildcard alias function?
    For example, making all email addresses starting with 'a' (such as [email protected], [email protected]) aliases for [email protected].

    Any way to disable the background image on login page?

    Looks like I'm only able to add logo, some text and html.

    Believe there's some guys on discord who were customizing it with the 'custom html' section.

    No, doesn't look like that's something the software allows. Just catch-all aliases and plus addressing.

  • This full business suite looks nice. Will wait for the EU version and then for sure buy!

  • Gmail has rolled an update, with buggy AI and other errors. Many people complain. So wait till fix...

    Just checked on custom infra, the time from initial connection till delivery of mail with attachments (1 mb):
    New York - 2.3 seconds
    Virginia - 2.5 seconds
    New Jersey - 2.6
    Dubai - 6.3
    Russia - 0.9 seconds (without attachments)

    Interestingly, the slowest mail went to the promotions tab.

    Given NC is providing branding customization available for everyone based on our request, we could remove it (if that option is available) or set a custom image (or pure white image). PS: I am also tired of those backgrounds :tongue:

    What solid colour would be your preferred? We can disable it if enough people vote for that. I’m assuming it slows down the login page a good bit.

  • Can it be used for transaction mails?

    That's fine so long as it's clean.

    You can't use it as a mailbaby like product though where you send from any email you want. The FROM must come from the same domain as the login at minimum.

    I think mxroute has a fully transactional product in the works if you're looking for a baby alternative.

  • @Francisco is this offer stackable?

  • @Francisco I need some help here. I requested complete account deletion due to being unable to clear the “fraud detection” and received an email from Karen that it will be done. To my surprise, I’m still able to login into the WHMCS dashboard, only the services / tickets have all been removed (and I’m not able to open a new ticket). But my request was to delete ALL information (name, email address and the whole WHMCS profile) - looks like this wasn’t done properly. Karen’s email came from a noreply email address, so can’t reply to that either. Can you please forward this request regarding Ticket 6269 and 6539 (merged at some point into one)?

    TIA

    I use this to customize the login page background to white;

    <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" style="display: none;">
    <div style="position: fixed; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; background-color: white; z-index: -1;"></div>

    One might consider a simple gradient somewhere between light and dark. It's pretty easily coded via Cascading Style Sheets. (I would personally suggest warmer rather than cooler colors.)

    Simple gradient between light and dark is my vote.. the current background is a tad funky, looks picture under a staircase .. can't really tell what it is

    Sure, what's some examples?

  • I would gladly look at that asteroid on a daily basis. My personal preference is to avoid bright white and bright blue colors, which that one does just fine.

    If we're in a nitpicking mode, the gradient you chose would do well with lower-contrast text (or other elements) on top of it. I think light gray would be easier on the eyes compared to pure white.

    @Francisco said: looks pretty good

    Others should chime in. Happy to share my opinion, but I'm not trying to dominate the discussion.

    I think it looks good. I tried playing with the blue they use for the login button but it's a bit bright. I'll play with some others.

    This uses the same blue they used in the login button as the left blue.

  • I like where you're going. The blue button doesn't matter to me personally. I'm much more aware of the high contrast between the box and the background. If still nitpicking, there might be room to go a shade or two darker inside the box. That would cut the contrast a little. At least it isn't pure white though!

    @Francisco said: I think it looks pretty good

  • Either one of those background colors would be an improvement from where its at currently

    Spouse, indeed. My wife wouldn't allow me to spend too much on idle servers/services.
