  I successfully deploy this to sqlite recently. You may follow this:

  install php 8.2

  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ondrej/php
  sudo apt update
  sudo apt install php8.2-fpm php8.2-zip zip php8.2-curl php8.2-mbstring
  
  

  Install composer, and then run composer install to fetch laravel files.

  Update /database/migrations/2014_10_12_000000_create_users_table.php sqlite (SQLite does not require specific string lengths for indexes.)

              $table->string('api_token', 60);
              $table->string('api_token')->unique();
  

  change .env to

  DB_CONNECTION=sqlite
  DB_DATABASE=/absolute/path/to/database.sqlite
  

  create empty sqlite

  touch database/database.sqlite
  

  Then run php artisan migrate

  php artisan migrate:fresh --seed
  

  and then rest using apache or nginx for web server.
