That's about 5 years ago, I visited the Bay Area to attend Google I/O in person (heck that's also the last year they did it physically and then COVID strikes)
I met with some friends there and overall I think US is still a nice place to visit, especially smaller town around California. It is just the amount of homeless people in the city and scams around LA is a bit insane.
