The hunt has just started, back to grab a KS-A.
Let's give some time to OVH to sort the Black friday mess, and come up with ready to use servers.

Go hunt my little child, Go hunt.
Woops.
Sad to see that.
Good luck, you definitely deserve ks-a
I still have a tiny little bit of hope to get last -B to complete my collection and then start to digest my prey break all things by moving to new server, probably breaking something my friends use. Ofc some things will be lost in transit and having some precious "fuck, i had my stash of scans of sexist and objectifying '80s serbian yugoslovenian computer magazines on that server
Same boat we go
I made a bunch of stupid QoL changes to your script. least I can do to thank you is give it back for your review and possible upstream. I'm also up for a marriage for a couple of years for immigration reasons (T&C apply), if this works for you
Please do open a merge request, I will check on these QoL changes.
Would benefit everyone then I guess.
Done
Absolutely insane how there’s a chance of getting unmetered 25 gbit downloads, even if shared, for sub €100 a month
Almost KS-A level insane if you have an actual need for it
I thought you were going back to hetzner you dirty traitor
I will give a try to the KS-A server, I'm fucking tired of the stolen CPU on my AWS asia instance
You pay them money for this?
I wonder how much BW it takes for them to begin throttling you
Crap, this is crazy. Have you tried to redeploy instance? There is a chance to get it on another host system with less noisy neighbors
Don't think it would come to that point
Yes they will, for example SYS, if you had 1gig and advertised was 250Mbit, at some point they throttle you down to 250Mbit.
That's what I do usually, I just tried one hour ago and nothing changed.
BTW I just saw that KA-S in Asia is 55$/month so not going to order that shit. If you have a good plan for a small dedicated server in a Asian DC, ping me
May i know do you generate the graph?
Well he made it so, I guess it was a good occasion to show it, looking good tho
They've just refunded the invoice for my cancelled KS-LE-E order via PayPal.
Funny side note:
If you know cheap-o collocation with 250W budget, we can start a small business selling out VPS on EPYC 7551P. I have first hand experience how to build 256G ram/1T nvme for like $1k, with extra unpopulated 16 SATA channels. AFAIK you can get a case with at least 14x 2.5" slots, so we can fill this peep with a lot of hdd capacity.
I’ve got Schrödinger's KS-A orders. They’re still alive until I check - so I think I’m just never going to look.
Edit: Fuck.
I have both, prod stuff on Hetzner, experimenting with vRacks & Proxmox on OVH. Just got it all working with IP spoofing blocked from VM’s as well as DHCP working
I honestly like the OVH setup that I’m creating, still, a single Advance-1 + vRack + IP block is about €110. A single EX44 with cloud instances, would end up costing about €50
Would also like to know. Looking good
Don't they ban your ip with so frequent requests?
Probably. Not they’re just hard coding a no stock response. It’s the ultimate troll because he’ll never realize
It was in 2023 and the 2022 KS-LE-1 edition was available for a short while. Fastly went out of stock... Thread about it.
Yes but if you do not generate 150 TB in a month, they probably not throtle your link if you won lottery. A couple of KS-LE-1s from 2022 has 1 Gbps up over IPv6 and never throtled but we not reached more than 10--20 TB traffic per month.
However these old Kimsufis are on the legacy network infra. At evening when international peering routes crowded I experience better performance on my KS-LE-b than KS-LE-1.
But for this price it is very solid.
Interesting, in 100 Mbps times bandwidth offered with KS-LE servers was
bandwidth-100-skle-included, and for regular servers wasbandwidth-100-included-ks. So they made difference in normal and limited edition bandwidths too in the past. Now regular KSs has bandwidth-300, LE-{A-E} has this too and LE-{1-6} has marked unguaranteed BW. so it seems to be that the marked unguaranteed BW is on the legacy network infra.Edit: An extra question. Was it possible on old ECO models to place it in a specific DC over the API as now on site and API or only the countries were available?
I have an active KS-LE-C in ca-east-bhs 2x2TB HDD with 64GB RAM down/up 1Gb/300Mb. The RAM was 32GB but it was updated a few days ago. In theory I don't need it. I already have another server available. What do you recommend? Keep it for educational use or give it away? Eventually how much would you sell it for? Thanks!!
