Odd, are you still having issues?

  • Interested in the GPU server. What's the ETA for IPMI? Is it going to be a public IPMI or behind a VPN or local gateway considering the ransomware attacks these days?

These GPU boxes utilize private networks for IPMI. We can potentially get this manually activated on a per-case basis, drop me a DM and I'll check for you. Otherwise if it's just the case of a specific ISO, we can potentially do that in the meantime too.

As one last bonus for our Cyber sale, we're going to give away one free month of our GPU box to one user. Simply respond back by the end of the day today (Tuesday, December 2nd (2024) at 11:59 PM CST). Winner will be announced tomorrow (Wednesday, December 3rd).

To enter, all you have to do is respond stating what you'd use your GPU box for.

As a reminder, this is the GPU box we'll give away one free month of. After the free month, you'll have the option to renew at the Black Friday/Cyber Monday rate as well.

Have a variety of use cases in mind.

Would use the GPU to run small models via Ollama and pair it with VSCode using extensions like continue.dev and cline. The performance obviously won't be as good as hosted models but okayish for small coding tasks.

Additionally the GPU would be very helpful for one off video encoding tasks with NVENC.

Also I do run android emulator instances on cloud VPS (with VT-x/AMD-V enabled) for app/security testing. These run somewhat okay but with a dedicated GPU the performance would improve by a significant margin.

Lastly when time permits would like to use the GPU for cloud gaming using Sunshine and Moonlight. With Proxmox installed on the host would use PCIe/GPU pass-through to pass the GPU to a Windows guest. Latency would definitely have an effect but I guess is fine for not fast paced games, single player titles and stuff like that.
