Does OVH US accounts allow server transfers?
Hi all,
Just curious if anyone knows if OVH US (us.ovhcloud.com) allows for transfers. On my IE (world?) account I see all my services have contacts attached to them but for my US server there is no contact information attached to the service like my IE (world?) servers.
Is contacting support worth it to try and initiate a transfer to another user or do they just not do transfers.
Asking here cause ovh support is slow and i thought someone would know here.

You can transfer servers on any account region, as long as it's the same region. Also OVH support is much faster now days than a few years ago, it only takes a few days rather than a few weeks.
You can cell them in which case the waiting time is roughly 30 seconds ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Oh wow thats great to know, honestly a few days sounds amazing because the last time i contacted them it was weeks.
Do you know if I just need to contact support to transfer us.ovhcloud servers? The tutorial for changing server contacts like normal ovhworld services doesnt seem to apply here or i'm just blind and cant find the contacts section in the us.ovhworld panel haha
I'd say just try whatever option is convenient.
The support will probably redirect you to somewhere if they cannot help.

I suggest you try the Twitter support, its even faster.
So say someone is selling in USA. I am in USA but don’t have OVH account. Do I need one to accept or can I get one created while accepting?
OVHCloud US support got back to me and said they don't do server transfers.
They said I can transfer the entire account but not services connected to the account.
So unless someone else has done this or knows how it seems that you cannot transfer us.ovhcloud servers to other people. While account transfers are possible thats not really useful when you have multiple services.
