  • In the new year, I renewed my VPS for another year, but in reality, it has been idle for me because I purchased a Los Angeles DC-02 VPS, but most places do recognize broadcast IP addresses in Canada. If possible, I hope Racknerd can give me a native/local Los Angeles DC-02 IP address.

    thank!

My renewal invoice number is Invoice # 8929686

It definitely is, source: believe me bro

Gonna try Redis today. Will report back on any gains over Memcached.

@TrK Void or Puppy, whichever's lighter. Got a good PC, but, want to be able to extract every little juice.

    Ohhh.... So no templeOS? Sed...

Could throw Alpine Linux on it or NetBSD

Alpine is fun. Source: believe me bro...

    100% agree here

Well, I didn't mean to be disrespectful. You are right. Alpine is pretty popular. Many projects use it for chroot, if I am not wrong.

It uses musl instead of glibc & uses busybox for a lot of tasks, so it's much smaller install.

Yah, I had trouble with musl as I am not used to it. But, busybox was easier to handle and compile with only the applets I needed.

I am really comfortable with Ubuntu. Any liteweight versions based on Ubuntu/Debian?

DietPi exists, which is a lightweight Debian based distro.

Didn't know they were available on x86.

Yeah, they have it avail on x86 too

Then, awesome. That's a good distro to add to my list.
