guy i'm looking at putting all my idlers and servers into one giant spreadsheet with all relevant info like ip, username, password, renewal price etc.

i don't trust microsoft or google files with anything credential related so i want to host somethign myself but i'd like to be able to access and edit said spreadsheet either through a web browser or my phone after a sign in

    any suggestions?

yes i know storing passwords in plain text is fucking dumb, these are also $7 vps's we're talking about so idc

I won’t help you destroy your life sorry

You are saying you are not using SSH Keys?

  • emghemgh Member, Megathread Squad

Also the directory you’re talking about already exists. It’s called .ssh/config

  • On serious note - find some wiki engine (flat file?) and use that. Hide it behind basic auth and voila.

Fine fine in that case use Vaultwarden or the like, for me I do that for VPS I am lazy for SSH Keys and the naming can be short and simple like: Kuroit $7 4C8G SG or Terabit $12 6C6G KC

I use craft.do for knowledge management. I setup a collection of my servers with the basic info you mention as properties (minus login deets - store those in Bitwarden and access via ssh keys). Then I also have personal notes linked to each to track any contextual info, tasks, etc.

i'm already using vaultwarden for my regular credentials so i might just use the 'secure notes' for it

    Ok

@beanman109 use pastebin, standard settings (public) works good since you can do it and just search for it later in case you forget the pastebin link
