I decided I'll just try OVH instead. Worst case I'll just KVM a OVH dedi and do the routing that way
I honestly think there's something in the Hetzner networking setup making the failover IPs harder to use, I remember having issues with routing IPs with Hetzner before whereas OVH just worked

(I missed the deals on the payment step
Again I’m not the best with networking, but with OVH I can set MAC adresses in the dashboard and the 100th time of editing the network config it works and I can route stuff
With Hetzner failover IP it’s not the same. It seems more like an ”extension” to the main IP in some way, not sure if I’m on the right track here
I know Hetzner additional IP’s are more like OVH’s, but if I recall correctly they can’t be moved in the same way between servers
@faleddo all pings fail using uptime monitor. Any idea why?
