FireVPS give me a big punch

Two hours after I purchased the host, it suddenly lost contact. Soon, I went to the control panel to check and found that the instance could not be started. After about 10 minutes, the instance came back to life, and I thought the problem was solved. However, I soon found that I could not connect to it through IP. When testing the IP, I found that even if I used Ping locally in the US, I still could not connect to it. It seemed that the IP and machine were unbound. This was a very bad shopping experience. I bought it from the Black Friday flash sale collection post.

Are there any similar FireVPS users? Request any help.

    Good luck figuring out the issue, I don't have services with them and honestly I wouldn't prefer them at all.

    @FireVPS

    Verdx, this was due to wrong network interface on your vm which is already solved. Felt sorry for your initial experience, just come to live chat if still facing network issues.
    Thanks

    Connecting fine from our end. Will you please give another try?

  • Same experience, and my instance was redeployed by the merchant without any communication, so I lost all my data. :(
    Fortunately, no services have been deployed on it.

    Bruh what's with the usage of the word "mother" when addressing nodes. Last time I saw a guy posting "mothership". Is this a translation problem or are all the servers hosted in a spaceship or somethin 😂

    In Japanese and Chinese, aircraft carrier is called "航空母艦" (literal translation: mothership of aviation). "航空" is aviation, "母" is mother and "艦" is ship.

    And when a desktop PC is used mainly and a notebook PC is used on the go, sometimes desktop PC will be called mothership.

    VPSs can be builded/generated or destroyed then regenerated by a BIG SERVER, the BIG SERVER can be called mother server.
