    I think what happened was that KuroIT was very spirited in giving the £7/year to a lot more people than expected because it was a very fun (with lots of demand and the associated struggles) thing going on at that time.

    But they are FLASH sales for a reason and of course you're not going to get them from their standard product catalog most of the times.

    When I purchased the £11.11/year plan, it was also advertised as a Black Friday deal. I bought it just a few hours earlier, and now the price has dropped before I even started using it. Even if it’s a flash sale, it should be offered with a different specification or link. This gives a very bad impression, as the product I bought hasn't even been used yet and is already cheaper.

    You're right, it was a Black Friday deal that you purchased, this one is a Cyber Monday deal.

    Always - if winnability random (i.e everyone stands a chance) and the the prize is a $5 dedi like the KS-A (or a M1 like in your case), you'll have enough clicks to crash MySQL.
