which registrar and can i secure 10 yrs ? Want something uber cheap and safe for email. Don't want to be flagged as spammer lol.

Hostinger (no special requirements). Most ccTLD is safe for email, I'm using it rn, never had a problem, except 1 company that not allowing subdomain.

I'm not sure for paying for 10years. But currently I pay for 2 year, maybe you can deposit/auto renew.

There was a time dot info was 0.99 and u cud register for 10 years in 9.90. Those were good times. Surely there must be an equivalent in today's times?

1.111B class .xyz domains probably ur best bet nowdays for something like that

    if in the eu, .eu
    if not, .nl

I found - .de and .eu to be cheapest (4-5$ mark) but not sure how strict they are with residency requirement of registrar. Need to check .nl.

Do they go on sale (for renewal also) ? If yes, which registry / reseller ?

    use tld-list.com

    not sure about .de

    .nl allows everyone I think

.eu for .eu countries I think

.nl, de allows everyone. Eu just for residents. .nl is about €0.50 first year : TransIP.nl.

Free transfers without renewal for .nl, use the cheapest you can find. Usually about €4-5 euros a year. Can't renewal ahead.

Thanks, I had been following your threads in the domain forum for some insights. :)

I was looking at spending ~25$ for 10+ yrs and just call it a day :)

Don't go with .info domains they are expensive as hell for renewal. Google domains used to allow 10 years of registration but now they are Square space and I am not sure if they offer10 years.

He wants to use it as one-time emails for all services, inbound, as I understood it

Even if it's cheap for 10 years it's still annoying as hell afterwards

Yes precisely and with grace of @jar or @NameCrane deals - outbound aswell.

Want something fairly consistent as long-term sustainability is important. Not looking for a quick promo offer. It's a pain to adjust the setup later.

I'd just go with .nl since it's relatively cheap and open to anyone

Also, you don't want some extremely cheap shitty TLD if you plan on sending emails from it, .nl will serve you good

each link is different. Every time I saw a DartNode one I would click them all to find some of them say sold out and others in line.

@barbaros said: @host_c is it on purpose that currency is $ on your website for EU based company? Just wondering.

Yes, we buy stuff in USD, we pay USD, so there is no sense for income to be in other currency.

All EU companies can do this, in any country In the EU. I am surprised that most don't do it, but that is not my problem to debate.

You losing on quite a lot of customers if you are targeting EU customers.
People want to be comfortable, you achieve it by accepting the local currency.
It's even a law if I am not mistaken here

Naaah... we just pay a bit more, @host_c totally deserves it!

And funny enough when they moved the Google domains customers to Squarespace they kept the regional pricing. My .net domain is due renewal, 10 years later for 2 euro. So I don't want to move my domains away from Squarespace, even though never heard good things about them.
