I know they are in stock, but maybe someone has one they don't need and I don't have to pay the setup fee
Why would someone transfer it to you without asking you to pay the setup?

Oh wow, they do everything they can to prove that they can do worse.
Good luck for the replacement of the replacement.
Actually I haven't asked for a replacement yet as I had been busy with to much trouble working through the ordering process of another provider (fax machine anyone?).
Does OVH perform disk replacement based on the original disk in the package, or do they replace it with the upgraded disk if there is one?
So a 960gb disk can be downgraded to 480gb?
Good question, it never happened to me, but I assume they replace a disk by the same model, otherwise this would break a RAID configuration.
For Sale:
KS-LE-1
Selling because I recently secured a storage variant of the KS-LE-B.
Info:
I (accidentally) prepaid for this server until 20 January 2025, even though the contract is on a monthly commitment.
Server is located in Gravelines and is on a OVH EU account.
Specs:
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1245v2 - 4 cores / 8 threads - 3.4 GHz (Turbo: 3.8 GHz)
RAM: 32 GB (upgraded from the standard 16 GB)
Storage: 2 × 960 GB SSD SATA (upgraded from 2 × 480 GB SSD SATA)
Price:
Due to rule 4 of the server transfer policy, I cannot list the price here (selling price cannot exceed twice the recurring monthly fee). This limitation applies because I prepaid for an additional month. My goal is to recover the initial purchase fee plus the extra month I paid for. Send the offer in a PM.
Payment via PayPal Friend/Family.

2 disks should not be changed at the same time then
If you replace all the disks of a server at once, I guess this is their right to put disks that are listed in the official description of the offer.
For servers on BHS, is ndppd working fine for ipv6 ?
My KS-LE-1 on BHS, still have problems with ipv6, intermittend packet loss and i dont know if i have some problem of config or problem of network.
@yoursunny do you know about ipv6 on ovh ? thanks
I guess i got lucky with my KS LE 2, downgraded the bill from $21 to $17, and got the 8TB version. I had the SSD version of the $21 Xeon 1540 ones.
I paid it and got it delivered like in 2 hours, and thats because there was a problem with the PSU after installing the OS.
I would like to use it as a Palworld Server, do you think it is a good choice?
I am a software development student and my interest is the back end. I hope to learn at the same time i fool around with the server.
Can you transfer it to me? Please contact me if you can.
Hi, ready for transfer KS-LE-E (EU account)
CPU - Intel Xeon E5-1650v3 - 6c/12t - 3.5 GHz/3.8 GHz
RAM - 64 GB ECC 2133 MHz
Data disks - 4×2 TB HDD SATA
Region - Europe (France – Roubaix)
Next payment date - 1 January 2025
(300 Mbps outgoing/300 Mbps incoming)
€14.99/month
I received it as a result of transfer from another user, but unfortunately it does not suit me.
(monthly + setup)
Thats terrible for a Rise server honestly not acceptable imo
I'm not reading all this.
When do I get my KS-A order delivered or canceled
Time to ticket that OVH guy again on Twitter to ask, since no reply on tiket.

Sold
Still nothing for Game/Advance or even recurring discount for existing servers what a shame
Ugh, 10% code won't let the crap go either.
@ovhcom what about 50%?
The German OVH page says in the small print that the Cyber Monday MONDAY coupon (10% off on KS/SYS/Rise LE server) is only valid for new customers?
This was different the last years - the coupon was available to all.
Has anyone checked this?
10% off for RISE-LE-* with MONDAY is this a joke? For a product that is sold out.
It's the same everywhere, it says new customer only on the bottom of the page
That is some next level shit. If that was case then most of them would have got their server without setup fee.
It said "Voucher code Special offer is valid for new customers only" but still applicable for old customers, dunno what OVH is thinking...
... and no 10% OFF in US, OVH US is always a step behind
Usually, they skip the thinking step
maybe have to wait a few hours? Maybe they start this at e.g 10am EST?
