Trying to put Ohio datacenters on the map.
But seriously, couldn't be any happier with you and your service. By far my best bang for the buck.
You've likely single-handedly taught a bunch of foreigners were Ohio even is on a US map due to this thread alone.
You're awesome though man. Have noticed exactly zero service degradation across my 3 servers and that's AFTER you've been turning them out like they're going out of style. So jazzed not to see some insane CPU steal or something.
@lnx I’m thinking of getting another instance, a 4 GB RAM one this time. If I am understanding your AUP correctly, is it fine if one of the 4 vCPUs remains fully in use (= 25% avg on the overall VPS)?
In other words, is it fair to interpret the AUP as “1 dedicated and 3 fair share” cores as far as usage is concerned on a 4 vCPU VPS?
My use case is reserving one core to handle file compression and it could be at full use for several days in a row. The other 3 cores would remain largely idle with occasional several second spikes to handle other applications. The overall average may hover around 30%.
Thanks!
EDIT: A second question is, my friend has a 4 vCPU server in Arizona and may not renew it next month. Would it be possible to move his server to my account and change the billing to annual, or is it easier to just order anew?

If you use the full core for days, then it would count toward your CPU time metric.
It would be easier to place your own order.
