LF: US vps w/ high BW to replace hetzner vps

Recent news with hetzner greatly reducing the bandwidth allocation of their VPS in their US locations which forces me to cancel my VPS with them.

I need some to replace them. The use case is sort of an edge server/CDN serving data to users. Generally we dont use all the BW allocation, but the peace of mind of having the headroom for when we actually might need that much BW is great and knowing that our VPS will not get disabled or throttled when hitting the limit is necessary.

Requirements:
KVM or OVZ is fine
1 vCPU
1G ram
20G ssd
1IPv4
20TB out (in free)
1gbps is fine, 10gbps is a plus
Location is mix of east and west coast NA

Need about 5-10 VPS (distributed to different nodes for redundancy)

Since its BF/CM right now, I know some services that offer this config for about more or less $1-2/m when paid annually, so looking for the same deals.

Budget $1-2/m, ok to pay annual.

Also any leads to existing and available deals are appreciated.

Thank you!

Yeah... You can't even get these prices at Hetzner.

    @crunchbits

  • Prices like that don't exist, at least up the budget to $4 a month and that would have some chance.

What makes you think other companies can do what Hetzner can't?

Hetzner is now starting at €3.85 per month, which is almost in the $4-5 price range.

  • ColoCrossing — $10 / year
    1 Intel Cores (shared)
    1024 MB RAM
    25 GB SSD
    20480 GB/month bandwidth
    1.0 Gbps port speed
    IPv4
    Hosted in U.S.A.

On a quick look I spotted this but check the LET aggregator that I made, I'm running off keyboard right now.

Honestly, hetzner isnt the cheapest VPS provider but did give huge bandwidth. So pretty sure someone can match it.

Im not sure where your aggregator can be found. Looking forward to seeing it tho.

  • Though $2/m is rather low considering the IPv4 requirement, some providers may bite if you do a bulk order of 10 VPS for $250/yr. But you should probably check their peering too.

Already found different providers offering BF pricing within my specs. Just checking if there are anything I missed.
