  • Mine yabs might worth attention.

I bought a windows rootserver medium, which is built on hyper-v rather than kvm, and no linux reinstall option for it. I asked custom ISO and used netboot.xyz to install linux dist.

So I get this hyper-v yabs for medium.

Different network info / gb6 scores / disk speed results.

I'll keep this, it's kind of special ( and maybe less neighbors than kvm node? :D )

It was, on Friday, but I can imagine they might have lot of tickets by now. I am also waiting on a ticket for the same, where I want to use RHEL/CentOS, but have issues with custom iso

  • So, who got that Ryzen 9900 and can share some experience/steal/CPU?

I am kinda tempted (yet again - like every year :D) to gamble buying "new host" amazing yearly deal, but this one is kinda low on storage and not really screaming "worth to migrate!" and I need some help, I guess? :-D

Has anyone made purchases for their business? Their account has no option to enter a VAT ID, even though it asks during registration whether the account is personal or business. The invoice they generated includes 19% German MwSt, which isn't correct for a UK business - it should either be a UK VAT invoice or have the tax deducted. I reached out to their invoicing department on 27th Nov but haven't heard back yet. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Thanks

Yes, i did buy server and services from them. I talked in general support ticket with VAT issue, they said they are going to fix it in the future. I was happy to pay taxes in first invoices, since my accountant will handle it.

  • Soweit nichts anderes vereinbart ist, ist bei „unlimited“ ein Traffic von 1 TB zulässig.

Unless otherwise agreed, a traffic volume of 1 TB is permitted for "unlimited".

I find the use of the term "unlimited" in this context to be misleading, especially when explicitly stating a 1 TB limit. This discrepancy has left me feeling misled about the actual terms of the service, which influenced my decision to choose your service under the impression of truly unlimited data transfer.

    • Q: This raises important questions about the practice of redefining terms and concepts in business agreements:

How is it justifiable to redefine "unlimited" as a specific numerical limit (1 TB), when these terms are fundamentally contradictory? This appears to violate basic principles of clear and honest communication in business agreements.

how about our customers say we will pay 1000 usd, our 1000 usd is 1 euro?

  • Went with a Ryzen 9 Rootserver Medium from this sale and had quite a few connection issues to the VPS. Initial setup took around 20 minutes from adding funds to deployment.

After a few days I got a notification that my host key has changed for the server, got me a little sus. Tried connecting and it no longer recognizes my key or password and my services that i setup to run only work intermittently.

Tried sending through a support ticket and didn't get any reply, not even automated. Something strange is going on with their setup.
