How is MassiveGrid doing in the London location?

I've got 2 servers with them I have not started using as I've been a bit busy, and I'm not in the mood to spend a lot of time configuring it only for the result to be poor performance and repeated outages.

Is it safe to start working on it?

Is it?

Is it, really, really, safe?

  • I'm on the NY one and it seems flaky

  • 30 day uptime, little or no steal. I'm not exactly stress-testing it or monitoring it obsessively but it feels ok.

Same here. SSH goes down and up repeatedly. Put in ticket. Support said they fixed it. Nope. SSH and Control Panel down. NY seems terrible.

  • A couple of days ago, I could still occasionally connect, but now I can't connect at all. I purchased a server in New York. I've already submitted a support ticket, but it's been over a day without any response. Feeling frustrated.

  • I bought 5 server from them but every 2 days my servers gets problem, also now the massivegrid.com is down and all my servers are down

I have lost more than 200 customers because I sell vpn and I get complaints everyday

  • Hopefully they can increase their capacity soon. they are definitely overselling their nodes.

  • Rebooted the VPS and it's back up. The portal was reporting 32d of uptime, so I'd suppose it was something with their network and the VM wasn't able to recover from it. dunno.

  • The end is nigh.

Maybe related to the reports of DHCP not properly issuing IP addresses and the reboot forced a renewal that worked now? Hope we get a post-mortem when all this is done.

Well it looks like I spoke a little too soon there, didn't I?!
