Yes and im Always nearby DC for 2 weeks a month.

Honest opinion? Can a person run a decent hosting/vps company by colocating or just renting a mega EPYC server with /24 at a good location with stable network?

Yes. Renting or colocating EPYC is what most people are doing.
But renting an EPYC and leasing a /24, or even coloing a full EPYC, it’s hard to reach the same economics of scale as a provider that
Rents at least a full rack
Operates their own network with their own upstreams
Has 30+ large EPYC systems
Owns their IP’s
Etc

I Host other hosting companies. And i know alot of Others. Its Always Side Business and Just Pocket Money then.

Costs are high And you surely also Need Money on top Always to expand. Life is expensive too
