Exactly, but 2 of my 3 new tailscale exit nodes are currently down (London and New York time time) which does defeat the purpose.
Can you please give us the ticket number?
@MassiveGRID My server is also down in london.
My ticket number is #961319
I was able to get onto my NY server with their console in the control panel. I never noticed this before but it looks like these are configured to just grab an IP from dhcp. Anyways my interface had no IP attached. I re-configured my IP manually (IP is listed in the control panel) and there is network connectivity.
My london on is down but so is your portal, so can't log a ticket.
The team just replied in the ticket. The problem has been resolved. Please let us know if everything is working on your end.
Hi portal is up, also our London clusters. Please try again to login and submit a ticket: https://portal.massivegrid.com/submitticket.php
Hi, it has been resolved. Please check and let us know. Thank you.
No, the DHCP problem has not been resolved. Just tried an Automatic Debian 12 Server reinstall. No DHCP. Ticket 814344
I can't seem to reach it (nor my VPS) in Canada. Seems it's not reachable in a lot of locations: https://semonto.com/tools/website-reachability-check?test=740e93ccb64548638d3396ef3f6759f6
Edit: Can now reach the portal, but can't reach my VPS. Will create a ticket.
MASSIVEGRID DOWNTIME HIGH
I only joined just to share with y'all my experience. If you can handle the downtime, go for it, but if you can't... find a different provider.
There were 4 hours 20 minutes of downtime between 2024-11-27 18:46 UTC and 2024-11-28 17:23 UTC.
I ask support for help, they say they fix it, then it continues to have issues.
Here's my downtime log from a bash script I wrote:
Hi, the team replied in the ticket.
Feedback on issues some of our customers unfortunately faced
As we learn something new every day, it seems that some nodes in our clusters hit some vendor limits causing network cards to lose connectivity.
After some days of hard work to find the root cause since the behavior isn't consistent and affects randomly few VPS in some nodes in one particular cluster, we're close to the permanent solution.
Please whoever has issues, raise a ticket so that our team can immediately focus there.
We're committed to provide a good service for all our customers and we'll pay 100% attention to everyone facing an issue.
my vps down frankfurt ticket #719772
Ticket No 866433
London
NY down
Ticket #114899
Itβs over. Now even their official website is inaccessible.
Thank you!
Though, something's wrong with NY networking again, and I see the same in UK this time: I can't get dhclient to get an IP, no packets come back after DHCPDISCOVER. Likely broke for 1h21m in UK and for 2h13m in NY, judging from when I lost mosh connection to both.
Finally able to login, Ticket Created #273149 - NY
Ticket number: 372238. Please help resolve the issue with my server. Thank you.
All 9 of my vps servers are on but no internet connectivity...
Ticket: #969910
I do not believe a provider needs customers to raise a ticket when it is a DC wide outage for this provider. Their monitoring should have informed them that.
Everyone raising a ticket will swamp the ticket queues.
Usually yes, but they have also mentioned that they haven't yet built a status page/status checks so it's quite possible they aren't getting the alerts you would expect them to. In particular when they indicate "this is now resolved" with a rough explanation of the issue only to have more/new messages indicating this issue is back/is persisting.
Scam sevice
UK VPS are offline,
The official website is also inaccessible.
OMG!
@MassiveGRID
Hope there's no worse news than this.
The ticket I submitted has been pending for an entire day and night without a response. Feeling frustrated.
We had so much downtime and just random CPU spikes on our MassiveGrid VPS (and the VPS has only been online for 2ish weeks) that we jut had to abandon it. We disabled monitoring on it last night at the start of the most recent outage.
There wasn't even anything on the VPS, and it wasn't running anything other than the monitoring software.
We've requested a refund, but I'm doubtful we'll see it.
