Same here, so you're not the only one. Although their customer service lets people believe that it is.
Also seeing the response a bit above on the "guys what's happening" message, it brings back C1V memories. Responding to a few things that you can respond "more or less positivily" on, and ignoring the rest.
It was fun while it lasted. A few minutes that is.

The server is running, but I still can't connect via the provided IP and port despite following the instructions from the email. I've also tried rebooting and pinging the server, but no success.
Honestly, I was planning to order more servers, but this initial issue is concerning. ๐ I hope this is just a one-off situation because your pricing is great, the panel looks good, and the +1 year bonus is appreciated. However, the most important thing for me is reliable server availability and responsive support.
I've updated ticket ID #374226 with more details, but it's been over 8 hours without a reply. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. ๐
Thanks!
Maybe the 1 year free is for waiting for a working service. Joke :-)
I have 2 in NY:

Is anyone getting good/stable uptime from the New York location (or any location)?

@MassiveGRID - I'm interested.
Can you send the Looking Glass / Test File Download link for you New York location. Thank you.
the vps is down most times
For the second time this week, the servers in Frankfurt are unavailable. The server has been unavailable for several hours.
I have had the NY service for 4 weeks and have not noticed any issues until now. Just noticed website is down since I can not ssh, so came here to see if there any info.
Down for me as well. Portal and NY vps. Couldn't have been a worse time for me too ๐
I purchased London and Frankfurt. The London one has been rock solid and I'm quite happy with it.
But the Frankfurt one has been down for about 6 hours three times in the last week and ten minutes today.
I've had a VPS in Frankfurt for 3 years and I can tell you that the network performance is completely terrible. We are seeing thousands of connection issues today alone. This happens at least every few months. We cannot connect to our servers in Europe at other providers.
Anyone with problems in Frankfurt will likely continue to get issues. The problems are intermittent but are never resolved.
Right now, I cannot even log into Massive Grid's own website.
They have a "15 Days Money-back Guarantee" and the portal issue at least affects all customers as it's liked from the "Login / Register" button on their main page, which suggests either it's a hair-on-fire emergency for them, or we should be prepared for a rug-pull.
FWIW I jumped in because they host with Equinix, a former employer, and a lot of issues are related to power/environment/etc. (Equinix are very good and priced accordingly). I'm surprised by these issues and figure it must be temporary so will be giving them a little more time to resolve them before pulling the rip cord. Maybe you should do the same?
London is networkwise "meh"... strange outages in network connectivity. But that is worse in both US and Germany. And those latter locations are quite regularly completely down networkwise. Germany now crashed. And ofcourse the portal that hasn't been available for hours and hours.
But seriously, saying that you've been around for quite a number of years and then just now thinking to implement a status page?
Customer Server responds that they aren't aware of any issues around US, UK or Germany. At least until this morning. After that weren't able to add information to my tickets because the portal is down.
Now their own site is down, which is really not a good look for a web host!
"It's not just you! massivegrid.com is down.

Was said rug just pulled? If so, it might be chargeback o'clock
If this has been a continuing issue for several years why have you stayed with them? Low price and you don't need it to be fully reliable?

My VPS is used for testing and as a backup. It's idle 99% of the time. Changing would be a lot of hassle. But after this outage, I will not be renewing.
I'm just letting people know that MG in Frankfurt has serious network issues. Every few months the problem becomes so bad I submit a ticket and they claim to investigate it. Usually it's resolved in a few days but the dropped connections issue has never fully gone away.
The current outage is the worst I've seen, but I'm not at all surprised by it.
Either they don't monitor their network connectivity or they don't care about poor performance.
It's definitely NOT "high-availability" and their marketing is total BS in regards to "failovers" and "no single point of failure" etc.
That makes sense, thanks.
But whether the company/offer is legitimate or not, I personally can't imagine wanting this VPS spec in October 2026.> @Matt9091 said:
To be honest, I'd be stunned if you renewed a three year subscription on this hardware in four years time. I'm guessing the Provider is probably of the same opinion
Only way I could see reusing it would be as a reverse proxy for stuff behind tailscale/sdwan or for uptime monitors/tests, but that does assume it stays up reliably enough to serve those purposes
portal is up again but very slow and parts aren't loading. Appears there might be an outage in NY
Never mind. I submitted a request for refund. I picked up a server in New York and in Frankfurt and I'm unable to use either. I had intermittent issues connecting to the Frankfurt one (with it being more unavailable than available), and at no point have I been able to connect to the New York one.
Assuming there's an outage going on, I find it crazy that a company advertises its "high availability" would have an outage like this across multiple zones, including even having their main website itself experience availability issues.
Seems haven't receive the bonus yet
Fun fact: the only thing still going through (Frankfurt) are pings to the actual IPs - so at least the uptime monitoring is happy for once!
Otherwise pretty shitty service from day one...
