anyone reached the support again who was given the 29Nov date for delivery?

I don't see any point. There's a 1-2% chance that by making noise you get the server when you otherwise wouldn't (squeaky wheel gets the grease sorta thing). There's a 98% chance that you get your order cancelled quicker or there's no impact. I'm not going to bother the poor support team who seemingly has no idea what is going on in the datacenters anyways.

true, i was just hoping that ovh should have worked transparently and provided clear details of what is their next action. we are stuck in a timeless loop now, waiting each day for the update.

  • for me as the rejection from the phone support already there, i am losing faith in these services. it is not like i was requesting something different. i had manual orders. i purchased, what was advertised. they are giving no servers and still keeping that tiny plan for marketing. i think people will itself start requesting for cancelation soon.

I also manually ordered 2 KS-A's, but it was clearly a bug. When we received them, the KS-A's were available for sale for minutes, and I'm sure thousands of orders were placed. It's impossible to fulfill all of them.

  • There are plenty of things that OVH can and should have done better.

I think it's fairly obvious from the start that they were accepting more orders than they could deliver even before the bug that made them wrongly appear in stock later in November. I'll give them a pass on a software bug but I think it's very fair to be frustrated about that and OVH should have a better idea of what their stock will look like during normal operations. Not all orders will be completed due to payment issues, validation issues, etc but allowing excessive orders by 20-50 is a lot more acceptable than allowing 200-1000 excessive orders.

At this point everyone should be assuming that their orders will get cancelled, and if we see any more deliveries then that will just be a nice surprise.

The way I personally see it is that I've primarily used OVH for my hosting needs for over a decade. During that time I've had 2 power supply failures in which both were replaced in <1hr. Downtime due to network issues has been minimal, maybe 3-4 hours total over the span of a decade across multiple datacenters. The after delivery experience has been so good for me that I'd let OVH tie up a down payment on these servers for several months if delivery would eventually happen.

  • Im still have packet loss over ipv6 on BHS.
Some problem there for your servers over ipv6 ?

its free for now .. some servers support it some don't its if you have multiple servers and they can share data on a private network if they want to talk to each other .. when added to a cluster..

Nope, support told me I'll get it today, but so far, no server or refund.

please update if you hear anything.

Sorry, I'm not very familiar with English, I only know some simple ones.

Hey guys, I got a few of these KS-LE-E servers delivered today in RBX France.
    E5-1650v3 - 64GB RAM - 4x2TB HDD - 1Gbit/300Mbit - €14.99 per month

Looking to only get reimbursed for what I paid. Network is quite crispy on these but I have gotten what I needed already and these orders were pending from the 5th. If anyone wants them before I cancel them this coming week, send me a DM.

    EU account transfers only
