Do anybody knows Dashserv?

Hello LET community,

I bought two vservers on the Realtox Media Black Weekend Deals (https://realtoxmedia.de/blackweekendsale) for 2x10 Euros and found dashserv.
I saw that Dashserv was bought from Realtox Media. How are they? Has anyone already bought a server there?

I will test the Black Week Deal (https://dashserv.io/black-week) and write my feedback.
Peace ✌

  • Hey, I found this thread on Google. I got multiple VPSes from them during Black Friday. They aren't anything crazy in terms of snappiness, but after adjusting expectations for the price (€1.77/month each) they're still extremely competitive; the amout of RAM is enough to keep my services running and that's all I can ask for this price.

If I were to pick on anything, it's probably the lack of a client area login link on the mobile version of their website (how could this be screwed up @PacketsDecreaser ?), that's actually how I got to this thread, searching the web for "dashserv login" lol.

All that's left is whether the Black Friday price would stay recurring.

  • I had a Server there at “Frankfurt”
Unfortunately they got me a server with Düsseldorf location, as I could see that in the trace route.
I just opened a ticket and asked for that but they told me every time that’s Frankfurt .

So I can’t recommend the provider.

Yes, the price remains the same.

The mobile version of the website currently has no link to the web interface. Simply use the desktop version.

    Important!

I no longer have anything to do with dashserv. From tomorrow I will run my own hosting which is specialized in DDoS protection.

The server is located in Frankfurt if you chooses the location. I can't say what the problem in your case is. Sorry !

of corse we have inteconnects between datacenters and transit comes in from all different POPs from us all across germany (myloc+eqx dus, eqx+itw fra, wiit muc)... else you can look us up on bgp.tools&peeringdb or do an egress trace

  • I can’t believe that the location is real Frankfurt because the last hop is always Düsseldorf, so it make no sense to route everything over Düsseldorf when I have servers located in Frankfurt.

Im a customer of @RealtoxMedia and they never advertised frankfurt. They always made it clear that they host in düsseldorf

  • I have an 1GB RAM VPS plan from RealtoxMedia, which is works great for me. I like it. But never heard about this "Dashserv".

    https://lg.dashserv.io/
    https://dashserv.io/legal/agb
I think, it's the same company, but different brand. Their IP address is from Realtoxmedia (same ASN). Interesting :)

  • On dashserv you can choose between Frankfurt and Düsseldorf
