    But it all changed when @Nekki and others are still around and they made some of the best megathread. I had a lot of fun and that's when I decided to join the community (you can see my join date is during Black Friday). I started out a bit more careful and slowly I get used to the atmosphere. Of course with all the crazy deals by @VirMach it makes it even better.

    As someone who likes to help others, making things happen, and organize events, I tried to compile lists and help with the formatting of deal posts, as a way to give back the community. I got rewarded with the tag "Deal Compiler Extraordinaire" by @trewq (Past admin), and after being active in the community for a while I became a Mod and Admin subsequently.

    I don't want the legacy to die and want to try out some innovative ideas, that's when I planned for an organised flash sale. Not only it would ensure a constant stream of deals, I can also try to negotiate with providers beforehand. I studied what they offered before recommending deals that would be attractive, and some of the deals you see this few days actually has gone through quite a bit of negotiation to even make it happens.

    So ya... it is a mix of wanting to give back, doesn't want the legacy to die, and among other things I want to make something successful. There's definitely some hiccups but over the years I learned a lot. I would say this community has helped me a lot, at least it changed me on the psychological areas where I would never expect. I am more outgoing than I was in the past, and I have become more confidence nowadays.

    I appreciate all the appreciation posts toward me, but I have to say thanks again to everyone of you that makes me who I am today.

    (Never expected to type so much but it is midnight here and getting a bit emotional)

    That was a touching story man! I am glad you were able to find a home where you have friendlies in every corner.

    I am so thankful for this community for all the knowledge, wits, experiences and all those generous providers for the unsustainable sub $7 deals :)

    exactly this, this is what's taking all of the stock, not bots, MAYBE with some additional browser automation like some tampermonkey script to IF whmcs try to fill out the default fields etc but nothing more I don't think

    I actually read a tutorial by an mjj - how to get VPS, fully automated using python and selenium (this particular one was for cloudcone). so yes, bots are being used. they create burner accounts and transfer the account for a hefty premium, by passing transfer fees if any.

    Yes, but that’s coded for a specific provider. 90 % of deals here wasn’t expected. No body knew when they were coming, at what provider and if they were good.

    I didn't grab this one but not every deal needs to be 1GB of ram 1 cpu 20GB NVMe....it's nice to see some different offers.
