Comments
Probably should edit out the one that are over $50 per month
@MarkTurner - you must take spirit or mpkossen's permission on this. Some offers are over 50.
Deleted the larger servers - sorry missed that in the copy/paste
@MarkTuner I haven't received the dedi I ordered last week, is there a chance to cancel it and that credit be refunded/credited to my account?
@netomx : u got a better deal?
@darknessends yup. Last thursday i bought $10 server if payed quarterly, now it is $5 if payed annually
@netomx - just email Steve ([email protected]) - he'll sort it for you
Thx Mark
@netomx : I still say the old price, u have some diff coupon?
For some reason there are two coupons:
If you're going annually use the top coupon
@MarkTurner, wasn't that 5USD/quarter on blackfriday?
@darknessends - the cheapest I've see was $5/month based on annual payment
What Mark said
A while back someone asked me for some datacentre photos - I'll probably get some hassle for this but there is nothing sensitive in this image -
This is part of the expansion space thats has been cabled up in Atlanta. You can see the three phase cabling dangling from the ladders still waiting to be terminated next week. That will provide 50 new racks in that site each rack capable of 208v 60A.
This will house another 2400 blade servers, hopefully I can get some more photos this week once the racks and blade servers are in place.
Atom dedi > OS: Centos, Ubuntu, Scientific Linux and Fedora
No love for Debian?
Or Windows?
is there any buffalo locations for these server deals?
LOL no
@budi1413 - ISCSI boot is broken on debian
@netomx - Windows on an Atom 230 - OMG
@MarkTuner I've seen that in Mexico, why shouldn't?
@netomx - it wont happen here. Awful, that processor is WAY too slow. I've seen XP running on it and that wasn't too bad, but anything more than that is just painful
@MarkTuner good to know
@MarkTurner After Buffalo,new york region for server is this possible?
@MarkTurner I've purchased a HP BL460C server on Sunday, what's the best way to inquire about when it will be provisioned?
@quicksilver03 - if you bought it Sunday, they'd review the order on Monday. We're delivering BL460's (X5150 model) servers to them with two day leadtime, so given that you haven't had it Tuesday then you should get it Wednesday during the EST (GMT-5) day.
They quote 1-3 working days for dedicated servers.
@lukesUbuntu - sorry I missed your question. We dont have anything in Buffalo, our New York locations are Manhattan and Staten Island.
@MarkTurner thanks, i sent steve a email hes got some available in Manhattan in Jan
@MarkTurner Do you have any test IP and test files?
Also, @MarkTurner do you have DDoS protection?
@luissousa email [email protected] and Steve will send you his test links.
Yomura does not offer any DDoS protection on lowend hosting.
