The last 23 servers. After that, the deal is over.

  • @PrepaidHost are your hosts down. My vm is offline and can’t access your site

It’s interesting to see that the benchmark test performed worse than the results on the first page. However, it’s possible that many users rely on YABS and ran it at the same time as I did to understand better what they are getting.

    Well.. here's mine :#

    Hi,

Thanks for the benchmarks. But what you have to consider: We added new customers until this morning, and many of them will be doing similar tests now. This creates a certain dynamic load on the hosts, even if the CPUs are currently only running at 40-50% utilization on average.

This kind of fluctuation is normal in virtualized environments. Our advertised values come from tests under ideal conditions where there is no additional load from other VMs on the host. Your benchmarks show the performance at a moment where such factors come into play.

Let everything “settle down” a bit and run the tests again at different times. This should give you a clearer picture. We will keep an eye on the load and make adjustments if necessary.

    Best regards,
    Christopher

  • I've grabbed Package M as well, thank you for the great deal!

Currently seeing similar YABS results as above. I'll give it a few days to settle down as suggested before running another test.

    Thanked by 1Lawliet
  • I got in earlier and ran a YABS. I can confirm it's performing quite well.

Same information as prohosting24 in the same timespan... are you renting this ceph from the same provider?

We operate the CEPH cluster together with ProHosting24. Further information currently only in German: https://prepaid-host.com/de/blog/moderne-hci-infrastruktur-fuer-maximale-effizienz

@PrepaidHost On the other thread ProHosting24 mentioned it requires a OS reinstall for the CEPH optimizations to take effect. Is that the same case here as well or do we benefit from it without requiring any changes from our side?

Hello, no currently only the current ones. We are still waiting for new hardware. Unfortunately, delivery problems are still a big issue.

  • Anyone here able to lately restart their server and it goes online? I restarted by server but it never went online. Now everything is offline. I raised a ticket but no response so far.
