This might be a crazy question, but is there a way to schedule the "Built-in Mail Migration" to run every 24 hours? I'm considering grabbing a lifetime plan and using it to backup my MXRoute account. I'm very happy with my service there but I have 13 years of unbacked up emails there that I've been meaning to set something up for...
Aaaand with this, I’m grabbing the lifetime plan. Thanks for the great offer.
I picked up the original offer, but the improvements on it are super appreciated, thank you!
My account email got changed to my payment email (which is ok) - did I need to verify the email? I couldn't find a link to do so in my control panel
This solution works for me. Also forces users to enable 2fa if they want to keep their emails private 😅

And, got one....
I want to purchase a lifetime plan, but the order is marked as fraudulent.
Me too
I have to ask again:
Does this mean on CraneMail Reseller 1TB I can create either 100 domains with 1 account/email addresses on each or 1 domain with 100 email accounts/email addresses or combination of above but not more than 100 email addresses ? I am confused by quoted and
part..
My initial thought was I can add 100 domains with unlimited accounts on each as long as I stay under 1TB
I am actually wonder the same. Love to use this for my company email back up
Lets talk of this like a reseller.
Each domain would be its own service inside your billing. Users can then create as many users within that domain as you allow.
Domain aliases don't count against that.
Francisco
this.
What would you think about taking this as a EU customer (family email for five people), I mean it's 'only' email, no problem if it takes somewhat longer. Right?
@Francisco - does this have catch-all feature? How could it be configured?
1) I have 1 domain and 1 inbox/user ([email protected]). I want to use it as a catchall inbox/user. After researching online about smartmail, it appears I cannot make a user/inbox as a catchall inbox/user. Instead, I need to create a catchall alias ([email protected]) and add my user email as a forwarding address. Is this correct?
2) If I sign up for multiple services using my domain (e.g., [email protected], [email protected]) and forward these emails to my inbox [email protected], can I compose and reply from addresses like [email protected]? Note that these are not users or aliases, but rather emails caught and forwarded by the catchall alias, though they belong to the same domain (demo.com).
I want to sign up for hundreds of online services (like Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), each using different email aliases on my domain. However, I don't want to manually add users or aliases in the settings every time.
My goal is to:
1. Have just one main inbox/user
2. Be able to reply and compose emails using any alias (example: [email protected]) from this single inbox
3. Do this without having to pre-configure each alias in the settings
Is it possible to send emails from any email address on my domain (*@demo.com) even when that specific alias hasn't been added to the settings?
@Francisco @NameCrane Does anybody know?. i mxroute but would like to switch if it works like this.
Works ok from EU. Webmail is snappy enough and does not feel slow at all, but sync on the phone takes about 4-5 seconds to load every time i refresh, so it feels a little bit slow for me. Overall it works good for my needs.
Kinda

Basically, you'd add your MXR user in there and it should keep the inboxes synced.

Are you wanting to us a wildcard catch all or would you add specific aliases?
AFAIK if you use a specific alias (like, amazon@domain.com) then you can allow emails to be sent via it. I don't see how that'd work for a wildcard.

Yes, a wildcard 'catch-all' is available if that's your thing.

Maybe I'm blind, dumb or just missed it but is there a way to link a custom subdomain to the panel? The default subdomain is mail.mydomain.tld. Can I use mycoolmail.mydomain.tld somehow?
Are outgoing transactional emails allowed?
Are marketing emails allowed?
Hmm... I was considering setting up separate NameCrane accounts for family members and getting them a plan each. I assume they wouldn't then be able to be stacked.
So now I wonder if I should buy one plan for each family member in my own NameCrane account in case I wanted to stack them if it becomes possible. Trying to think through pros and cons - any wise ideas from anyone?
Separate NameCrane accounts or all plans in one account?
but how do you reply then ?
Yes, you are my friend
Edit your domain inside of cranemail's portal and you'll see
SSL Hostname. Poke that.Maybe. I'd want to see what you're sending. The same spamexperts boxes handling cranemail also handle shared/resellers. We have transactional emails all day on there (literal invoicing, etc), so it'd probably be fine.
No.

Mike's been fine with stacking AFAIK. Worth a ticket.

A catch-all must point to an inbox, be it postmaster or whatever. Your emails would 'FROM' from that user.
Francisco
Ohh I have missed that as it's a feature for resellers only. Thanks anyway
I assume reply from a different "from" user might be confusing if for example I was contacting amazon support from [email protected] while my account is registered with [email protected], would love if you guys could implement a feature for this
What credentials do I use to Spam Expert?? I've used all the credentials I have possible for Namecrane, and none of them work. The email sign-in link does not work either.
>
Hrm. I guess i'll open it up for non resellers.
Ping me later today, I should have that merged.
If you make aliases instead of a catch-all, then you can send FROM those aliases. For the catch-all I don't even know how that'd work. I guess every time you would specify what user to impersonate?
Francisco
You don't get a direct login to mx1.mxfilter.net. You can access SE via one of 2 SSO methods:
1) Clicking the login link inside of CraneMail's portal
2) Use https://workspace.org
The workspace.org URL lets your end users manage their own SE as well which is neat. You can also park your own domain to it if you wanted something generic for your customers.
