    F5 is already broken

    Ctrl + R is king

There's plenty of firefox extensions that refresh tab on a timer. But you still gotta scroll, so I recommend using vimium extension and use
    1. r to refresh
    2. j to scroll down and k to scroll up
    3. f to select any link (eg: quote or post comment buttons)
    4. [[ to go to previous page and ]] to go to next page (if there's a new page)

without ever lifting your hands to touch the mouse or function keys

Then, you need to move your hand between mouse/keyboard causing muscle strain. Just keep your hands on home row comfortably and embrace the vim ways. This works for most websites, so it can be a long term investment.

I'm new to NAT packages. Does this mean in general you'll have full outbound connectivity through NAT... but they'll port-forward up to 50 ports in to your plan?

I guess that could still work OK, as long as you don't need a specific port?

Yes, you can use [the external IPv4 address]:[predefined 50 ports] for ingress.
Note: At the host, you need to install OS manually on Proxmox VE console.

Edit: note is for 2GB NAT sale on 23 hours ago, may not for the LXC

Also you only need the keyboard if you're typing a comment, otherwise just click refresh then use middle mouse to scroll down that's all I've ever done
