Hetzner storage box, as the primary cloud backup location for my PC and my Android phone. Good speed, good availability, no issues, good value.

iDrive e2 as the secondary backup location. Much more unstable (I wouldn't use as a primary backup location, as it can go down for days, with no support), but cheap the 1st year and good performance/speed. After one year, I just sign up again using a new email, otherwise they double the price.

May replace iDrive e2 by HostBrr direct admin storage (bought 2TB for 27 EUR, so even cheaper than iDrive). Wouldn't use that as my primary backup either.

  • Bought koofr, pcloud and Filen. Primary storage = koofr

Also recently purchased storage vps from the BF megathread which has lots of sweet deals and then using owncloud with encryption to store files on my storage vps at the moment -- Question to everybody: is this secured enough?

pcloud lifetime (2TB+crypto) -- idling -- any takers?
    Filen lifetime (100Gb) -- idling

ive tried Filen and liked it but its a bit slow

Pcloud is great speeds, i like remote upload feature also...just wondering if i bite the bullet

For personal files - no providers on the forum. Not because of hate but because I use my name on the forum, and on sign ups so I'm too identifiable to put any personal files - not that I have anything super controversal for personal files. Google and Microsoft continues to keep photos etc.

But I do have storage for other reasons with providers on the forum.

  • I picked up Koofr lifetime 1TB a few days ago to backup the most important files on my NAS. May take a look into Filen next year too.

  • Recently bought Koofr 1TB LT deal.

Also have filen 50GB, Gdrive 100GB (subscription) and few GWorkspace legacy accounts as fallback.

    I use datalix's nextcloud plan. It's only 2.49 euros for 500gb of storage :D

You know if they support onlyoffice? They provide a server for it?

I'm not sure but they apparently offer free 24 hour testing servers so you can test it out if you want to
