Certificates like what bro? example please
Hello, I would like to double the bandwidth.
Invoice : 13861375
Order Number: 3612616958
Thanks!
I don't know what my body and mind think at that time, but, I thrive on sugar those times.
Again?
Document the homelab, the decisions you made, what you learned, why you went with what you did, write out a DRP, most of it would show up via some sort of writing, you cant really show off SysAdmin as simple as a software dev would show off a project.
CCNA, SEC+, look up cisco certs
This is pretty handy and isn't taught at a lot of institutions, I believe.
Search for them, most popular will be, cisco, azure and redhat.
Once the thread's done, I will most prolly have to come back to make a list of all things I learned and wanted to try out.
Are they free?
OMG!!! RACKNERD'S BLACK FRIDAY IS LIVE, GO HERE: https://www.racknerd.com/BlackFriday/ 💯
No its not, but I think it would be valuable both to you and to potential employers, as you can refrence it if you forget, and they can get a glimpse of your thought process and some of the work you have done
Hmmm never thought of documentation. Thank you bro, i'll look more into it
Exactly. Not that institutions are known for making people job-ready, but, these are practices everyone should be doing from the beginning.
Depends what you consider free. There would be exam fee and some other charges but the study material is free.
Many GitHub repos have that.
That's free enough. It's only fair that they charge an exam fee atleast.
Noted, thank you so much guys!
Documentation is necessary if you are going in adminstration stuff. No matter if server, computer or business.
We call them readme.md 😂😂😂😂😂
Gnight man, let's chat tomorrow.... Again....
I wouldn't need a college degree when I have certificates like cisco right?
Do you offer annual plan with only IPv6? I am thinking only a couple bucks per year. I am looking for one to run imapsync transfers on. 😅
Quite a few jobs require one
College degree is basic, certificates are advanced level stuff. Here's an example a fresh graduates doesn't know what to do when getting DDoS, but a certified network engineer do.
Good night dev, you really pulled an all nighter!
Lol if the us still requires degrees, I'm cooked here
Good night. See you next time.
Almost did.
