  • can i get double bandwidth? 😆

Awesome offer, but the 10G partition is kinda annoying. Anyone use LVM to combine the disks?

  • Are Düsseldorf servers already sold out? Why don't I see the option to select Düsseldorf?

@towfiqi said: Are Düsseldorf servers already sold out? Why don't I see the option to select Düsseldorf?

We received a lot of orders during the night and there is not much capacity left in Düsseldorf. I just activated the last spare node, so some orders can be placed again.

  • @UltraVPS I have purchased 25Y-Special-1, and the order is still waiting. Can I upgrade the configuration to 25Y-Special-2 by making up the difference?

depends on what you want to do. but yes LVM is the easiest way. I usually do not combine the disks though, but put LVM on top of the second disk and provision some volumes for /var /usr and /home there. maybe even do thin provisioning so you do not have to be to strict on limitting the size for those

I needed the rescue for migrating an existing system, but the already existing image "ArchLinux 2020" did not work.

OK, first I could not find any issue with the Arch Linux image. It bootet and I got a shell for installation. If you got any other error, please send us a mail ([email protected]) with the error message and how we can reproduce it.

I noticed that the Arch Linux image is way too old. So we updated the image to the recent image 2024.11.01.

    Fresh Arch ISO, that's cool.

  • I want to know why the 25Y-Special-2 package is not a 150g hard drive or a 200g hard drive. My current business has already used a 45g hard drive, and there are still 5g left. I don't feel safe with a 100g hard drive.

Just order 25Y-Special-3. It comes with plenty more of space for a negligible premium (I mean other resources are increased too).

@UltraVPS Do storage servers come with SSD partition for OS? I need a server for Proxmox Backup Server, it runs ok on 1 CPU/1GB RAM although slow but I think that's mainly due to I/O of the storage.
Would this be a supported use case?
